I promise this, I promise that
I used to say, "I trust you will"
But my hopes turn always flat
Those promises that you never fulfillYou promised me that you will stay
And boy, mind you, I did believe
I trusted you won't go away
But disappointment is what I recievedYou promised me that you won't lie
And I believed with all my heart
I think I got my hopes too high
It ended shattering me apartYou promised me that you will love me
Funny how I trusted you
I thought I was your one and only
Now, my heart is broken to twoPromises once made everything stay
It signified the trust and full of hope
Now, it's like a joke to play
As easy as to cut a ropeFor iwillian2 :)
