Treasures (Poetry Book Number Two)

You Said

"I love you with all my heart."
You said and knelt in front of me
"I'll stay and never leave."
You said and called me baby

"Give me a chance and I'll do everything"
You promised and crossed your heart
"Say yes and I'll be by your side"
You said like what you did from the start

"I'll give everything to you"
You said and took my hand
"The moon , the stars, the galaxy"
You said then I ordered you to stand

I wanted to say yes
I wanted to be finally yours
I planned on telling you
But life's a twist, ofcourse

"I've waited too long for you"
You said you loved me so
"I give up, I'm sorry"
You said then you let go

"I already love someone else"
You said then I covered my ears
"She said yes faster than you did"
You said then I cried tears

A friend of mine asked me to make this. This is what happened to her. A guy making her fall for him, but she had to think because she's afraid of being tricked. When she finally fell for him, she was about to say yes, the guy said he'd stop waiting for her. That he gives up.

The next week? He had a girlfriend.
