He whispered to me
He'll never leave my side
But now the chair is empty
He lied.
He held my hand so tight
And smiled at me so wide
But he got lost from my sight
He lied.
He danced with me for hours
It was the greatest adventure ride
But he started locking the bars
He lied.
He said to me "I love you"
It was tattoed in my mind
But nothing of it was true
He lied.
He promised he'll do anything
But he never even tried
He only left me crying
He always lied
This poem was inspired by the video our teacher showed us yesterday. It was about drugs and after every story that a teen tells, they always say "They Lied" i liked it so I tried making a poem just like it, but, about love. So yeah. Hope you like it :D
Exam is in two days! Wish me luck :D
