I want to speak what's in my mind
I want a stand, I want to fight
But now I see the cross you've lined
I have to shut up, you're always rightCan't you see that we're in misery?
We want comfort, we want to feel young
We want to look back at a happy memory
Not to look back at a picture that stungYou said that we should use our voices
And when we did, you shut us out
Where's the freedom? Where's our choices?
Again, you're right, there is no doubtNow, we'll do what you asked us to do
We'll shut up and not say a word
We're like puppets, and this one is true
We don't want change, but it is permanent in this worldJust have to let this out because this is like the only place where maybe someone would understand me. :/
