"Oh forgive me for the sins I've made"

As we entered the beautiful and large building, with a fairly enough space between us, the scent of expensive perfume hits me

Many beautiful women in going in and out of the building, their beautiful long and short dresses probably the cost of my rent in a whole year

"Hey you good?" Nate ask snapping me out of my thoughts, I give him a small warm smile and nod

"This way Mr.Maloley & is this your girlfriend that will be joining you today?" The waiter ask, I didn't reply waiting for Nate to say something we both just stood there

"No, just a friend" I say while the waiter nod's and takes us to our assigned tables, we took a seat with other people

A familiar face was heading towards us, probably someone I've seen on a magazine, I mean these are the richest people in America, they're way to high class for me to know

The attractive man sat down next to me, I remembered from the office earlier, He was looking around for a while until his eyes met mines

He had a small smile plastered onto his face as he saw me, his brown eyes lit up. I smiled back at him, he was eyeing my outfit

"Nice to see you Wood's" He says in a proper way causing me to laugh quietly at him, I rolled my eyes playfully

"Oh darling call me Kiin, that's my mother's name" I say also in a proper way also trying to sound British but failing horribly

"Well Kiin, how are you? Still clumsy?" He says referring back to our little "accident" at the office, I chuckled slightly and shrugged innocently

"Mr.Dallas, Nice to see you here" Nate says trying to hide the annoyance in his voice but completely failing in my perspective

"Is this beautiful lady your girlfriend" He says causing me to blush, I look down trying to hide my face, only to be brought up my Cameron's index finger

"Don't hide, you look quite adorable when you blush" He says causing me to blush uncontrollably, I gave him a small smile as I turned to Nate

He had his jaw clenched and his hands in fist formation on his lap, I touched his hand for reassurance, I guess my touch had an effect and he calmed down a bit

His eyes softened at my touch, making me sigh quietly in relief, I looked back at Cameron he was talking to some old lady, I smiled softly and turned my attention back to Nate

"Are you okay" I ask forgetting that my hands are still on his hands, he nods and stares at me intensely, I give him a small smile in reassurance

I removed my hands from his causing a small unnoticeable frown upon Nate's face, I was gonna say something until I was rudely interrupted by Kendall.

"What are you doing here?" Nate whisper/yells at her causing some eyes onto him, she was wearing a long beautiful dress which probably cost way more then the red one I was wearing

Her long black hair falling to her shoulders, and her makeup is just stayed on point, she had a nasty look plastered onto her face when she looked at me

"Well I'm your girlfriend and you invite this bitch here?" She slurs, well I guess she found the open bar before I did, I rolled my eyes at her childish words

"Come on let's go I'll take you home" He says making me look at him wide eyed, how the hell am I suppose to get home?

He got up from the seat not daring to look back at me, he took Kendall by his hand her still still trying to regain his balance, I rolled my eyes and hoped she fell

As he left out of the building I stood there confused, I was just a plus one, I didn't know what do or stand. Some people were already staring at me

"Hey where's Nate?" Cameron says making me sigh in relief, I let out a big sigh as well making him look at me in concern

"He left with his girlfriend" I said fixing up my wrinkly dress, he stared at me 'awe' I gave him a small smile in reassurance even when everything wasn't okay

"Do you need a ride home?" He asks making me smile softly at him, I nodded my head and got up from my seat getting my purse catching people's eyes

He got up as well shaking people's hands, and waving in farewell to people, the smile plastered on my face didn't leave, he seemed like such a nice guy

We both headed towards the entrance and he opened the door for me, It was dark out very dark and it looked like it was gonna rain

I guess I assumed correctly it started pouring, I groaned mentally that I forgot to bring my umbrella or coat, but then again California was always hot

I saw Cameron taking off his jacket, guessing it was for me I smiled to myself not wanting him to see, I stopped his actions causing him to look at me confused

"It's okay, it's just rain, you need it" I said not wanting him to soak, he didn't stop he took off his jacket and gave it to me, I shook my head no

"Where's your car?" I say, he quickly points to the nice black and white 2020 version BMW, I nodded as I saw it, I gave him back his jacket as I took off my heels

I pulled up my dress to my ankles regretting that I didn't wear some shorts under this, Cameron was looking me confused at my actions

I chuckled and literally ran to the car, I guess he got the idea I heard footsteps running towards the car, I beat him first I mean I did try out for track in high school

The rain was pouring making my hair soak as well as my dress, my feet were already wet from running on the wet cement

Other things were wet too, kidding...

He quickly opened up the door unlocking his car as well as the side of the car where I was standing opened up, I quickly opened the door getting into the car

I saw a familiar figure running towards into the entrance, I looked at them trying to examine who it was, It was just

Nathan.
