"You can't break what's already broken"

As me and Nate headed out the office together it was just an awkward silence between us, he took us to to his car

It was a nice matte black jeep with silver rims, I thought he would be driving those sports cars or whatever

As I entered his car he put the key inside the ignition and started the car, I looked at the radio eagerly trying to listen to music

I guess he caught my drift and turned on the radio, I smiled to myself I don't know why but I just did

"Okay let's play some old school songs, Sunday candy by Donnie trumpet and the social experiment coming up in 30 seconds" Says the man from the radio

You gotta move it slow-ly,

The song brought back many emotions, I turned it off quickly before Nate could comment

He looked at me for a second still his expression is unreadable, I don't look back I just look at the road

We finally got to the store and Nate parked, I was about to open the door until Nate beat me to it

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car waiting for Nate to close the door, he closed the door and locked the car

We both walked to the store entrance with a small space between each other, I've never had a day where I've gone not talking

As we entered there were many suits, ties, bows in many different colors and sizes, It was a huge store and probably expensive as hell

Nate grabbed my hand and dragged me to the tie section, I got a tingly sensation at the contact to my skin

I let go off his hand quickly when we got to the tie section, he looked at me for a split second and started looking through some ties

"Black" I said randomly, he looked at me confused

"Black ties, they would go with your suits" I said again, he looked on one of the black ties that were up

He got about 3, they all looked the same I don't what he's doing, he went to a standing mirror trying them on

He was failing badly at tying them, I smiled to myself because he looked adorable

"Need some help?" I asked breaking the silence he stopped his actions and walked closer to me, the nice scent coming from his suit

He gave me the tie and stared at me intensely, I didn't look at him instead I just started to tie his tie

"Cross over large end over small, then behind cross in front again, over the top and thru the loop" I said quietly to myself, I felt Nate's eyes still on me

This could've been us, could've been us every morning you were heading to work, and than you tying me up when we were having sex..

I patted his chest and stepped back for a second to examine the tie

"Buy this one, suits you well" I said mentally slapping myself for being the only one speaking this whole time

"Thank you" He says his beautiful voice sending shivers through my body

I decided to keep quiet until we got to the car, he bought the tie and 3 others that were similar to it

As I got out of the car which seemed like a 11000 year drive we were finally at this regular cafe

It looked like chipotle but it was California Chicken Café, I scammed the building it was small and casual

I guess I was staring to long because Nate took my hand again and dragged me inside, I looked around

There were people sitting and eating food, there was this cute old couple feeding each other I stared in adoration

"Okay they know me pretty well here so you'll just have to state my last name and say regular like "Maloley's regular" they'll understand what you're talking about" He starts talking causing me to snap out of my thoughts

"Oh okay" I say not knowing what to say, I looking at the floor

"Do you wanna try" He says making me look up at his brown eyes

"Mhm" I say as he moves out of the way letting me order

"Can I please get Maloley's regular" I say looking at the person behind the counter, they nod and punch in the price

"Are you Nate's wife?" The lady ask looking at my ring, I see Nate just staring at me

"No" I say bluntly causing the lady to stare at me with a small frown on her face, I don't dare to look back at Nate

"Thank you Patricia, we'll be going, I'll pick it up later" He says cutting in the awkwardness letting me let out a relived sigh

I give her a small smile and turn around, someone catches my attention at the end of my eye

Instead of going to the door I pretend to walk to the bathroom, I look to see at one of the tables sat Jack

My Jack..

"Jack?" I say looking at him confused, he looks at me with small confusion in his eyes

I look to see the girl that's sitting next to him, the girl I saw yesterday leaving Nate's office, it felt like my stomach plummeted down to end of the earth

"Who's this" The girl says her voice sounding so familiar but I couldn't catch on

"Who are you" I say ignoring her question, Jack just sits there not saying anything with many emotions running thru his body

"I'm his girlfriend" She says with a smirk plastered on her face
