"Shhh, it's alright." George kissed him quickly on the lips, going back to unlock the cuffs. "You're alright now, love." He kissed the top of his head, pressing his nose in his hair. "You're okay."
"I-I'm sorry." Ringo sobbed. "I-I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry---"
"Hush." George placed a finger on his red, bruised, trembling lips. "Promise me you won't escape me, okay? Okay?"
"O-Okay." Ringo whispered, voice raspy. He bursted into tears. "It hurts." He sobbed.
George wrapped his arms around him. Ringo gripped his shirt and buried his face in his neck, sobs violently racking his thin frame.
"I'm sorry." Ringo whimpered.
George kissed his cheek.
"I know."
