I sat up laying directly on top of Cordyn.
Shirtless and mouth slightly open.
He was sexy as hell when he slept.
"Baby."
He moved a little under me before returning to sleep.
"Baby daddy get up!"
He chuckled while fluttering his green eyes open.
"Yes?",he replied.
I smiled and laid back down.
"Just making sure you're alive."
We shared a small laugh.
He grabbed a handful of my ass.
"Damm bae that hurt."
I rubbed my booty. He's forever trying to hurt me, I swear.
"My bad. But don't be cussing in front of my child."
I chuckled before almost dozing off the sleep.
That was until there was a scream from downstairs. I'd almost managed to forget that my supposedly dead father was downstairs.
Tears welled into my eyes again.
"Baby calm down."
I nodded as he slid from under me and put on his pajama pants.
He was my knight in polo pajamas.
I chuckled to myself as I watched him walk downstairs to my father.
Soon after Erica and Damon entered my room.
"Hey babes you okay?"

CORDYN

I rushed downstairs to see JoJo aiming a gun at Morgan.
"Why you hungry?"
I laughed at Jo. He loves to fuck with people.
"Come on let's just go get him some food.",I said.
Jo got him out of the chair and drug him towards the door. As he was being drug I had a bad feeling in my stomach.
"Baby! We getting McDonald's I'm coming right back!"
I closed the door behind me before she could reply. Jo was already tying Morgan down.
I keep feeling that he's lying.
My dad called me but I ignored it.
He left a voicemail and sent a text but I ignored that too as I drove to McDonalds.

I smiled at Damon as he did the do it like me challenge. He was low key killing it though.
I smirked and rolled over onto the floor.
I don't know why but its more comfortable sometimes.
Once I laid there for a second I could feel the horrible feeling in my stomach again.
Liken some thing bad was going to happen to Cordyn.
I jumped up and ran into the kitchen where Damon and Erica were.
This fear I had was unreal.
"Call Cordyn. Something isn't right."
They shared a look before turning to me and laughing.
"Girl calm down. Your man is fine."
Damon chuckled while walking out the kitchen with a cup of ice cream.
Are they serious?
My man is in danger.
I can feel it.
"Something is not right! I'm serious!"
Erica looked at me with concern.
"And how do you know?",she asked.
I rubbed my temple in frustration. They are tripping hard.
"I can feel it."
Damon laughed loudly from the living room as Erica pushed me inside.
"Look he's fine. Its just your hormones talking."
I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah ok."
I kept trying to convince myself that everything was okay but inside I knew something was wrong.
I walked over to the couch where Erica and Damon were laughing eating and talking.
As soon as I was about to sit down the door bell rung.
"Ugh. I'll get it."
I got up and walked to the door taking my time.
It rung again.
Damn some people are impatient as fuck.
"Okay I'm coming"
I swung the door open and looked at the person behind it in shock. Then I realized what they were aiming at me.
"Surprised to see me bitch?"

CORDYN

I pulled in to Burger King and parked once I realized how long the line was.
Damn they always packed.
"I'll go in. I know what pregnant women want."
I chuckled at Jo's comment. That's true he should know.
"Okay. I'll watch ole dude."
He nodded as I pulled my gun out of my glove department.
Morgan was tied in the backseat.
"Hey I-I'm sorry we had to meet like this."
I chuckled.
"Yeah. Me too."
There was a small silence.
"So...my babygirl is pregnant huh?"
I nodded.
He chuckled in reply.
"Wow. I really missed out on her life for nothing."
"Nah. I can understand why you did it."
I heard him chuckle behind me.
"Aye man can you loosen up these ropes. My wrists burning."
He sounded genuine. So genuine. But it wasn't lace of something in his voice that turned me off.
I contemplated for a second before getting in the backseat and loosening the ropes.
Once they were loose enough he just let them fall off his hands.
I didn't care.
After all he is the grandfather of my new coming baby.
My phone rung in the front seat.
I rolled my eyes and climbed back in the front driver seat.
I put my gun on the side of my leg and answered the phone.
I knew it was my father.
"Hello."
I had a monotonous attitude.
"Son listen to me. Get as far away from Morgan as you can."
I felt my gun drop between the seat and arm rest in the middle.
Damn I'm clumsy.
Being clumsy and trying to be a thug ain't gone work.
I sighed in frustration while I bent my arm down to search in between the seat for it.
"Why?"
"Because you're being played. That nigga Teek is his son. Even worst, Cara is his first child. She's been playing us all along. Funnier than that she's engaged to Iris and has been for eight months. They getting married in a week or so.",he said frantically.
"What?"
I felt around for my gun and I couldn't find it.
"Get away from Morgan. I'm telling you the truth son."
I felt a cold metal being pressed against my head.
"Hang up."
