CORDYN

I sighed before taking another look in the backseat.
We were currently parked at the McDonald's.
"Jo."

He jerked awake before raising his eyebrows.
"Tell me where Erica house at."
He nodded before entering an address into the GPS.

I pulled off and followed the instructions the GPS gave me.
"So tell me why you came in there with them. I ain't heard from you since that day at the club."

He chuckled.
"We hit it off ever since then and....I think I love 'er dawg."
I chuckled.
"My nigga in love.",I said.
He rolled his eyes.
"So are you. If this was just any girl you'd let her get killed."
I nodded.

He was right.
"Yeah I do. I really do."
We shared a brief smile before I pulled into a medium sized house parking lot.
"Aye stay in the car with this nigga."

He nodded.
I got out and knocked on the door. Ready as hell to see my baby.

After a few seconds Damon answered the door.
"Aye wassup bruh. Where my baby."
He pointed to the stairs and I nodded.

I walked upstairs as he closed the door behind me. I searched down the hall until I saw a light coming from under a door.
I pushed the door open to reveal my sexy lady and her friend.

Asleep.
On a big bed.
I smiled while walking towards Jas.
I started kissing over her sweet face. Kissing every freckle I could get to.
She squirmed a little and eventually woke up.
"Cordyn!"

She pounced on me with her arms and legs wrapped around my neck and torso.
"Damn I missed you too."
She smirked and got off of me.
"You okay?"
I nodded while squeezing her fingers. Its starting to become a habit.

"We have a few visitors."
She gave me a confused face.
"Well...your dad is here."
She let my hands go.
"The fuck? Are you trading sides?"
I shook my head no before grabbing her hands again.
"No. He was telling the truth. My father was lying."

She gave me a surprised face before straight facing me.
"And how do you know?"
"Because I listened to a tape of him speaking."
She rolled her eyes.
"That's not trustworthy."
I nodded.

"But its enough to seriously doubt what you're doing."
She nodded before smirking.
"Did you use a condemn the last time we.."
I just smiled.
I school Erica and told her about the situation.

She willingly complied and gave us a room we could keep him in.
Jas and I walked downstairs to get him out the car.

"Babe I can't see him right now."
I pecked her lips and nodded.
"I'll be upstairs in a minute."
She went upstairs as I walked outside.

I gave Jo a signal and we were carrying the enemy.
It felt weird.

****

I sighed as Jas laid on top of me in one of Erica's rooms.
I was comfortable but I didn't know what I'd do about the hostage downstairs.
This changed everything.
Everything.

I wouldn't want to kill an innocent man who was caught in some shit. I was really lost.
Jas shifted and stared at me.
"What's wrong?"
I grabbed her hand and squeezed over and over again.
"Nothing. I'm just so confused."
She nodded.
She laid on my chest again.
"If I'm pregnant would you really want the child I'm carrying?"
I sat up a little.
"Of course. You're the only woman I'd want to have my children. Honestly."

She smiled and pecked my lips.
I pulled the envelope out of my pocket and showed it to her.
"I have the results right here. Do you wanna open it now?"
She snatched it out of my hands before sitting up beside me in bed.

She stared at the envelope before ripping it open.
She read over the paper quickly before covering her mouth with wide eyes.
"What? What happened?"
She turned to me and smiled the widest I've ever seen.
"I'm pregnant."

CARA

I smirked to myself.
My plan is working out perfectly and if I play my cards right, I can get away with all of my step mothers retirement money.
Bitch.

Me and Iris.
Just him and I.
Cordyn was just fun while he lasted.
I'm still mad and I'm going to get revenge. No matter how much I dislike him now.

I pulled into the hospital, ready to end her. Right on the spot in front of everybody. To make it seem like she was a lyer.
"Hi.",I said to a passing nurse.
"Hello. How may I help you?"
I smiled to her. Little did she known it was an evil smile.

"I'm looking for a Jas Foxworth? Is she still here?"
The nurse shook her head with a reassuring smile.
"She left a little while ago but I'll leave a message for when she comes back."
I nodded and smiled.
"I'd like that."

She grabbed her clip board and stared at me.
"Just tell her that she needs to call me."

The nurse nodded.
"And who are you ma'am?"
I chuckled.
"Cara Jones."
She nodded before writing.
"Cara Foxworth Jones."

Little did the nurse know, she was an accessory to a future murder.
