When Val arrived at the park, she was greeted by Sam and a picnic blanket.
She hurried over to where he was sat and gave him a hug. She took a seat beside him and they started with a simple conversation.
They spoke for a long time about random topics. It went from music to food, family to friends and life to death. They were deep conversations.
"Want to come back to mine?" Sam asked as he stood up, taking Val with him. She agreed and they began to pack up the blanket and food.
They headed back to Sam's car and began their drive. They had loud music playing and all the windows down, not giving a single fuck.
They arrived at Sam's apartment in no time and began their walk through the countless flights of stairs.
They reached his room and opened the door, to be greeted by another woman.
"Sam babe!"
