He was back.

The young man in black leather getting the same drink as yesterday.

But today was different.

He actually stayed and paid. He didn't throw the change at her like yesterday.

Maybe it was because he didn't have the exact change or he was using a card.

He put the drink on the counter and grabbed a chocolate bar giving her his card.

She scanned his items without making eye contact, being the timid 17 year old she was. She gave him back his items and awkwardly made eye contact.

He chuckled at her awkwardness and left the store heading over to his car. He looked through the windshield to see her stand tiredly at the counter.

She could see him stare at her in his car so she tried to look cool. Instead she looked like a tired teen, like the one that she is.
