Val and Sam had been texting non stop for two weeks. In that time the both of them had become somewhat closer.
They knew most things about each other, like how Val is finishing her last year of high school and Sam is finishing a music degree in college.
The age gap didn't bother the two, but boy would it bother their friends and family.
Sam - What are you doing this Friday? X
Val - Nothing much X
Sam - Good, I'll pick you up at 7 and wear something casual X
Val couldn't help but let out a squeal of delight when Sam had texted her this.
Today was Wednesday which meant she had two days to plan and get ready.
Sam on the other hand was excited to show her his band. He was going to take her to one of his shows.
Hopefully this night went right for the two.
