Chapter 6

Sorry for the late-ish update but here's chapter 6. I hope you enjoy. :) {mostly a filler chapter}

Chapter 6

~Bella's P.O.V.~

I was sitting on my bed, on my laptop just browsing the Internet, reading a bunch of comments that read: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN! And other meaningful stuff to Ryan. We were going to hang out with him later at about 5:00 p.m.

I jumped when I heard Jennifer call my name.

"Bella!" She said in a happy voice, while coming to my room.

"Yeah?" I responded and closed my laptop.

"I have something amazing to tell you!" She said with a bigger grin on her face while skipping torwards my bed to sit on it. Whenever she's happy or has good news, she skips. I don't know why though. She weird like that.

"Go on." I urged her to continue.

"Are you ready for it?.. Drum roll please!..." I laughed when she tried being those announcers in the circus or something.

"I got a job!" Jennifer shouted happily.

"Hahaha." I laughed. It took her long enough! "That's good! Where do you work?!" I asked excitedly.

"Haha that's not really important, but I work at this fancy hotel. And I get payed alot of money!"

"Oooh! That's good, but what's the important part?" I asked confused, because to me, this all sounded important. And it sounded like really good news.

"Well since I get payed alot, and you have a job too, we can move into a small house! One that has a pool! One where we can have parties while not getting yelled at by the manager! And we can actually get a pet! Like a dog or something! I have always wanted a dog!" Jennifer rambled on and on. And these were all really good ideas.

"Okay! Im down! When do we move?!" I asked excitedly. Man were we finally going to live life to the fullest.

"Well actually, I have already found a house. And it's cheap. I already got it all planned out. And if we start packing now, which we don't have much to pack because of this small apartment, we can move in 6 days!" She said with the biggest grin on her face.

This all sounded so surreal. Was I dreaming? I spoke my thoughts out loud. Damn, I do that alot.

"No your not dreaming silly! Now start packing!" She jokingly yelled. "And we need to be ready by 4:00 p.m. so we could set up Ryan's surprise party!" She then bolted out of the room. I sighed at her craziness.

"Oh and I'm leaving right now to get some boxes! I will be back in 15!" She called after me before I heard a door bang shut.

I couldn't believe what was happening! I am so excited! Nothing can make me upset right now! I started cleaning my room and began throwing things I didn't need away and kept things in a separate pile, that I did need. Man was I excited! I was just smiling to myself like an idiot. This will all come true in 6 days! When is that? I was counting down the days in my head. Wooh! This is all gonna happen by Friday!

Wait...

Friday..oh no! I was supposed to go to dinner with Luke. There is something that can upset me.

Yay life.

Ugh I mentally gagged. I really didn't like him, but my stupid dream made me think otherwise. And I think I was just going to say yes, because of my dream. But I have been thinking it over. Maybe I shouldn't go.

'I hate him remember?!' my thoughts told me, but I have to admit, he is really hot. He's a jerk though. But he isn't going to 'have me' anytime soon. I just don't get why he won't give up on me. I rolled my eyes and continued going through my room.

*an hour later*

I just finished packing about one third of my room. I was going to miss this place. Ugh. I guess it was time to call Luke to tell him no. I did kind of want to say yes, but I reminded myself that I only wanted to say 'yes' because of my dream or was it because of my dream? I got my phone out of my pocket. I better just get it over with.

I do have an excuse to cancel though. I AM moving.

I found his number and called it.

I waited for him to answer and then he did.

He sounded really happy right now,"Hello?"

Ugh I really don't want to kill his mood. "Umm..hey it's Bella."

Looks like he got even happier. "Oh hey beautiful."

I blushed a little bit. Focus Bella! Focus! "Umm I have my answer about Friday."

Just when I thought he couldn't get happier,"You decided that you couldn't reject me huh?" He said with cockiness. Wow. I bet he doesn't get turned down alot. I wouldn't blame him. He has a way with girls. Wait did I just say that?

"Um not exactly. My answer is no. I can't go, I'm moving Friday so I will be busy all day loading and unloading." I said carefully, trying not to hurt his feelings.

"Oh okay, it's cool." Luke lied. Ugh. I felt kind of guilty. I don't even know why though. I guess it's just because I care about people way too much.

"I'm sorry. Maybe another time?" I responded without thinking. Ugh why did I just say that?!

"So you would have said yes?" Luke's mood started rising again, and he asked in a cocky voice. I could just imagine him wearing a smirk.

"Umm.." I hesitated. I wasn't expecting my mouth to say that. And now I'm speechless, but not in a good way. "I don't know. Umm..look, I've got to go..umm Jennifer needs me for packing boxes." I lied. And he could tell because he laughed.

"Hahaha..okay, cutie." He said in a sarcastic voice. "Oh! And I didn't ask, where are you moving to??"

I blushed when he said 'cutie' and I responded quickly,"Um, I'm not quite sure yet, but I know that I'm still staying in this city."

"Okay. See you in bit, gorgeous." Luke said before he hung up.

Wait see me in a bit? He wouldn't see me for at least a week...okay he just totally threw me off. What the hell was he talking about? He probably must have thought a week was short so I will see him then. But whatever. I just shrugged it off.
