Hi!! So umm I'm not really good at writing Author notes but I'll try. So I have a lot of story ideas, and this is one of them!! I created Secretly Powerful a long time ago when I was in middle school, and it's changed a lot and is still changing!! But by far this story idea is one of my favorites.
So when I originally planned out/thought out this story, I wanted it to be a TV series. Now, not so much. I'd rather write it, or for Secretly Powerful to be a graphic novel or animated series one day!! So, I apologize while your reading if it doesn't feel like the typical "book".
But uh, here's some facts to know:
- The story involves a superhero, which I haven't really written about before. So that'll be interesting.
- Each chapter is split up into 3 parts. Since I originally wanted this to be a tv series, I kinda...formatted it that way when planning it out. But basically, if I wrote out all the chapters without splitting them up, they'd be super long.
- The story will be in 3rd person POV most of the time, but there will be the occasional 1st person POV from different characters.
- Since I can't put multiple genres in the genres section, the other genres for Secretly Powerful are: Action, Superhero fiction, Mystery, Slice of life, Realistic Fantasy, Kinda Crime Fiction, And AU(Alternate Universe)
- This is very much a first draft so it's not perfect.
So, there might be slow updates. Because life and school and such, but I will try my best to update when I can!
Also in the first couple chapters my writing isn't the best 😅.(cuz I've been off and on working on this for a couple years so my writing has changed and gotten better.) But as the story goes on my writing and storytelling gets better, so please keep reading, it gets better!
Anyway, I hope you like the story I have to tell!! And I hope y'all like my characters too!
