As we drove along the streets of New York making our way to the venue of the first leg of the tour. Anxiety started to kick in. That fast beat pounding  off my chest, the trembling on my knees tears started to pierce through my eyes. I started to count to ten to clam myself down...

but before I could reach six a hand took mine. I looked up and was met by hazel eyes who was speaking of nothing but concern and worry. Peter didn't ask what was wrong, he already knew. He engulfed me with one of his infamous hugs. He made  me feel warm inside, I felt safe, assured. I felt that the world wasn't giving up on me. ' You'll be fine' he kept on saying while rubbing circles on my back. And slowly my body started to calm down.  Throughout the car ride he held me in his arms, Something felt wrong about it but somehow it also feels right at the same time. Knowing that anyone would die for my position right now, Let me tell you I feel kinda lucky.

Peter, he is everybody's dream. Any girl would be wiling to be by his side. Anyone would fall in love with him.  Sometimes , well most of the times I wonder why he doesn't have a girlfriend. I mean he is boyfriend material after all, whenever I ask him, he always say that him being single is a choice.

A few moments later the car halted in to a stop in front of a huge building, well calling it huge would be an understatement because every building in this block is a skyscraper, so might as well call it one.

"Is this where the signing will take place?" I asked Peter

"No, this is the hotel that we are gonna be staying at, the signing will happen at a bookstore a few blocks from here." He said.

We entered the hotel, Peter headed straight to the reception and I took a seat at one of the lavish seats in the lobby. I looked around and spotted a few people of course there will always be stereotypes in places like this, There's always that couple who keeps on eating each others faces, they cant even wait to get into their room. Then we will always have those kids that are full of energy, that keeps running around the lobby, Those kids are also responsible to the endless chatter that can be heard. Then there are people who are just like me, went there for a purpose, a business meeting or a family gathering or in my case a book signing. Before I could drown on my thoughts on different types of people Peter came into view.

"You ready?, Lets go settle down in our rooms." He said.

"Yeah, sure." I said.

We made our way into the elevator and let me tell you elevators aren't very nice to me. They make my head spin and my stomach churn. I just hope that the floor of our room isn't that high. We entered the golden doors as it slid open from both of its side. So inside the elevator there's me, Peter and 2 suitcases. A few moments later the doors closed and peter presses the no. forty-two, its the highest figure in the buttons so basically we are gonna be staying at the penthouse. I let out a sigh and Peter just looked at me and noticed that I closed my eyes. before I could release another breath a familiar set of arms took me in an embrace once again.

"Thank You" I whispered in his ear.

"Always." He said  while tightening his hug on me.

The sound of the elevator signaled us that we have reached our floor. Peter let go of me and he both grabbed our suitcases. As the doors opened he gestured me to go first. I did as he insisted. He led the way into finding our rooms. Until he stopped at room 421.

"Is this mine?" I said.

"Its ours." He said with a cheeky grin.

"I did not sign up for this." I kind of shouted.

"Nah I'm just kidding, this is yours mine is next door" He said with a hearty laugh.

"You should rest, you've got a big day tomorrow." Peter added.

"Yeah, thanks for everything, like seriously it means a lot. like the hugs and everything. You know that I fear a lot of things but whenever you're there they seem to be scared of you." I said.

He just smiled at me and hugged me once more.

"Your fears aren't afraid of me, I just happen to have the skill to bring out the courage you had in you to fight them yourself." He said.

We parted ways and looked one last time at each others eyes before the sight was replaced by an empty hallway. I entered the room and I immediately felt the tiredness in my body. I took a seat at the floor leaning at the wall adjacent to Peter's hoping that he could hear how fast my heart beats for him.
