"Are you kidding me? Where is that shirt??" I said to myself.

So here is the scenario, I'm gonna be late and I don't like being late, I can't find the shirt that I bought for the event and I haven't even showered yet. All my good clothes are in the laundry so what I've got are three dresses. One is black that has cut outs in it, the other one is red that has a glittered sweetheart neck line and the last one is a white , sleeve less dress that goes just above my knees. If I wear the first one I'd probably look like a hooker and if I wear the red one I'd look like I'm going to prom. So I guess it's the white one. I paired it with a floral kimono and black sandals along with my black clutch. I think the outcome of the outfit ended up being "rocker boho?" well, that's my style anyway. I curled my short hair did my makeup that consists of eye liner, mascara, brows and a bit of lipstick.

The venue of the event is just 10 minutes away from my house so I rushed to my car and sped off to the reunion.

*WELCOME BATCH 2006*

The sign welcomed me in this fancy garden where the event is being held. My nerves are getting to me it's the first time they will see me since I left. I've been in contact with some of my closest friend like Nat , Amber and Christine but not him.

"Oh my Gosh Anne!" Christine shouted while running towards me.

"Christine how are you? I've missed you so much!" I answered with the same amount of enthusiasm.

"I'm doing well!" Christine replied with a big smile on her face.

We went to Nat and Amber, back in high school we were inseparable. Until now we still treat each other like sisters and I'm sure that will never change. All of them have serious relationships and I don't have one. Since I'm the youngest out of the four of us I am obliged to always be last in everything but then I always get the best.

"Is he here?" I asked them, hopefully not sounding too desperate.

"Who?" Nat asked while taking a sip from her cup.

"Thomas." I answered in a meek voice

"Yah he is right over there." She said, Pointing at the sitting area.

"Are you gonna talk to him?" Amber asked while flashing a suggestive grin on her face.

"I actually don't know."I said, not minding Amber's and Nat's teases

"Just do what feels right." Christine said while giving Amber and Nat a dead look. Christine has always been the mom of the group and I always go to her whenever I have problems of any sort. And she has always been there for me ever since.

"I'm just gonna get a drink " I said while walking away. Not even waiting for their response

I headed over to the refreshments bar and got myself a lemonade after that I started to walk around and then I saw Amber on stage and she started calling people.

"Can we have the presence of our class president for some remarks?" Amber said.

Everybody started calling my name then I just raised my hand and shouted "I'm here" then everybody made way for me.

"Good evening guys! I would like thank everyone for coming here even on a short notice. I am very proud that I led this group of people I mean just look around there are doctors, engineers , politicians and so much more. So Thank you again and please enjoy the night!" I said in front of a crowd. Everyone applauded and cheered Amber went on with the program and I headed somewhere there isn't much people, I found a table and chair along the balcony decided to settle down there. I got my notebook ,the same notebook I had during high school and started writing stuff.

"You're still writing on that thing?" A familiar voice said.

"Thomas?" I said.

"Anne." He said with that oh so familiar smile of his.

"We haven't talked for a while is it like 10 years?" I asked, even though I knew the answer.

"10 years." He answered.

"I'm sorry." He added added while looking down at his feet.

"For what?" I asked, not really sure on what is it about.

"For not calling or texting or just try to communicate with you."  He said in a very weak voice.

"Its completely my fault, don't blame yourself because If I really wanted to talk to you I would've find a way so I'm the one who should say sorry." I answered, not really wanting to see him in this kind of state.

"Okay, Let's stop playing the blame game, both of us have our own faults ." He said.

"I guess so." I answered while nodding

"Anne! Thomas!" Somebody shouted.

We both whipped our heads and realized that its our friend Isaac, but we often refer to him as Sac.

"Guys!!! I've missed you so much! Are you two together now?" he asked with a teasing tone.

"NO!" we both answered.

"Thomas and Anne finally got together, after all these years" A friend that walked by us said in a gushing tone.

"I told you so!" Isaac said.

"Stop it Sac." Thomas said with a stern voice.

"Sorry Thomas, I just really think that you two should go out because I've known you guys since forever and you'd be great together" Sac added.

"Just stop it Sac, were not in high school anymore to make fun of relationships and stuff like these." I said.

"Okay, sorry I'll leave you guys but do invite me in your wedding!" he said while laughing and running away from us.

"He hadn't changed a bit." Thomas said with a laugh

"Can't argue with that." I replied sharing the smile that he had on his face that moment.

"Can I ask you something? He asked.

"Yah sure." I answered.

"Is it bad that you still love the same person you did 10 years ago?" He said.

I was a scared that the same thing is gonna happen on the last day of our 10th grade that I thought you were gonna confess something , then I realized you had your high school love, Nat.

"I don't think so." I said, because in the back of my mind I know I still do.
