Damien's point of view.
Her whole body shook in my embrace as she sobbed. Maybe I had pushed her to far but.... When I saw that bruise.... I had to know. I had to know if Damonney had hurt her. But these scars, they were old. From years of torment and torture. Some part of me wished Damonney had hurt her, so that I could take him out. But this...... This was to much. I never noticed before how small her stature was. But then she always wore baggy clothes, to hide. She was hidding. That's why she was here in Blue Springs. I heard her take a shaky breath. She had stopped crying. I slowly drew back to look at her face. Her blue ringed green eyes spoke volumes. I remembered her saying her parents had died. "The foster system" I grumbled. She nodded sadly. "I'm so sorry." I said, hugging her to me. I softly release her and handed her my jacket. "I went to far. I'm sorry." I apologized. She gently placed her hand on my cheek forcing me to look at her. "No. You just..... You care." she mumbled. "No one ever cared about me before. Thank you."
