I was currently waiting outside for Lauren to arrive but it seems as if she forgot.

"Hey y/n?"

I slowly turned around and saw Johnny walking up to me - ever since Johnny told me about him being in love with me, he hasn't been giving me anymore shit, I guess you can say that we're really good friends now!

"Hey" I said
"Waiting on someone?" He asked as he approached me
"Yeah, my uh friend was suppose to pick me up but I uh think she forgot" I said
"Oh, lemme give you a ride home" Johnny said
"Really? I mean I don't want to intrude or anything" I said
"Nonsense, c'mon" Johnny said before he lead me to his car.

On the drive to my place Johnny and I just talked, we also shared a few laughs but something was bugging me about Lauren, why wasn't she there when she said she was gonna be there? - a couple minutes later we pulled into my drive way, I thank'd Johnny before stepping out of the car

"Hey y/n?" Johnny shouted causing me to turn around
"Yeah?" I said
"Do you think maybe sometime we can like ya'know hangout? As friends" Johnny asked.
"Sure" I smiled
"Really?" He said with a huge smile plastered on his face
"Yeah, how about tomorrow after school?" I said
"Okay" Johnny smiled before I walked inside of my house

As soon as I stepped inside I threw myself on the sofa, letting my body sink into the soft cushion's
When my phone went off, signaling that I had a new message

New message from Lauren:

Lauren: I need to talk to you...

Y/n/n: okay?

Lauren: where r u?

Y/n/n: my house

Lauren: alright I'll be right there!

I set my phone down on the coffee table as soon as Lauren messaged me that - I wonder what she needed to talk to me about?

An hour later...

I was currently sitting on the sofa watching reruns of The Walking Dead still waiting on Lauren. I grabbed the remote and turned off the TV when there was multiple knocks on the door - I rushed to the front door and opened the door to see Lauren standing there, she was wearing ripped skinny jeans, a plain white shirt and a black leather jacket. Her lips looked swollen and red what the fuck?

"Can I come in?" Lauren said. I nodded before walking back to the sofa and Lauren stepped inside

"Y/n I uh need to talk to you" Lauren said as she made her way over to me
"About?" I said not looking at her
"Can you fuckin look at me!!" Lauren shouted causing me to jump a little from her outburst

"I'm sorry" Lauren said before she kneeled in front of me and the smell of alcohol filled my nostrils, she reeked of it - she was drinking, maybe that's why she didn't show up to pick me up earlier

"Say what you have to say" I said crossing my arms over my chest
"Y/n you know that I love you so much right?" Lauren said
"Yeah?" I said making it come out as a question
"And you know that I would never do anything, and I mean anything to hurt you, right?" Lauren said tears threatening to fall from her eyes. I nodded my head in response, my heart started to beat fast and my palms started to sweat - where was she going with this?

"Well I think its best y/n if we uh.." Lauren paused
"If we what?" I said my heart beating faster

"If we broke up..." Lauren said. - my heart started to beat slower, and a huge lump formed in my throat, it felt as if someone took a hammer to my heart. I couldn't hold the tears back, they just came running down my face

"W-what?" I said my voice sounding weak
"I'm sorry y/n, I just think its best" Lauren said as tears ran down her face. She tried to touch my face but I pushed her hand away

"Just go" I said not looking at her
"Y/n I'm so-"
"Get out!!!" I shouted, cutting Lauren off from her sentence

Lauren nodded and slowly stood up before walking to the front door - I looked at her as she started to walk out but she turned around and opened her mouth to say something

"I love you"
