{Chapter Forty}
Sophie's POV
He held up the piece of paper from Kylie. I quickly got up off my bed, and grabbed it from his hands. "Umm.. It's nothing." I said back, as I turned to throw it away. "Sophie, it's not nothing!" Jason Said to me sounded somewhat concerned. "Jason, It was just a note that someone gave me today." I said as more of a question than an answer. "Is it something I should be worried about?" Jason asked me again. "No, umm.. It will be fine." I said back. "Can I see it to be sure?" He asked again. "It's nothing!" I said back really quickly. Then I put my head straight down knowing I just gave it away. "Here!" Jason said calmly as he held out his hand. I reluctantly gave it to him. He slowly read it. "You don't think this is important?" Jason somewhat yelled at me. "Jason, just leave it alone. It will blow over, and all this will be forgotten soon enough." I said back, as I walked back to my bed. "Kylie isn't like that Sophie! She won't just let you off. She will keep this going." He said back to me as he sat next to me. "Please, just see what happens." I said back, on the verge of tears, and I never cry. "Okay, but if anything happens I want to know about it!" Jason said back sternly. "I don't want you to get caught up in the middle of this." I said back. "I'm already in this. I can help you with it since its about me. At least promise you'll tell one of the Boyz, they care about you as much as I do." Jason said back to me a little more calmly. "I promise." I said back, as I stood up and hugged him. "Good. Now you want to do homework, or just sit here for a little while?" Jason then asked me. "Let's go ahead and do homework. If I don't get it done now I will just fall asleep." I said back. Jason nodded, and we grabbed our homework. Eventually, we finished, and Jason headed home. I took a quick shower, and went straight to sleep even though it was 8:00.
