"And it's okay to be scared Dinah. There's nothing wrong with feeling like your about to break down or give up. In order to be stronger we sometimes have to be the weakest. There's no sin in that. What's important is that you get back on your feet and keep on fighting. And you're not alone, okay? You are not, never will be. As long as I'm here in this world, you wont be alone. I got you." 

"Thank you Mila. You don't know how much that means to me." She says when her sobs calm down. 
"No, thank you for trusting me DJ. I don't want you to feel you can't count on me, or share your things. That's what I'm here for, alright?" Dinah nods. 

"So when is this road trip taking place?" I ask enthusiastically and Dinah chuckles. 
"Well, the holidays are almost here. So, I'll be taking like a long break. I have some sickness hours, I'll use those to leave a little early. I'm leaving this Tuesday."
"Wow, seems like everything is settled. Are you going on your own?" I ask curiously 
"No." Dinah blushes "Will is coming with me. I mean he is a driver, he knows a lot about cities. And he offered, so I accepted. We are going to explore some places in other cities before arriving to California. That's why is like a road trip. You know how much I hate driving and all that." Dinah explains nervously. She looks so flustered I want to laugh, but I hold it. 
"Aw, that's nice of him DJ. He's really a keeper." I say with a wink. Dinah blushes even harder. 
"Yeah, Will is the best." Dinah says with a dreamy smile. 
"Dinah is in love" I say in a sing song voice. She scoffs "Ugh, shut up! You're not one to talk with your green eyed monster. Getting all lovey dovey. I know you've been with her a lot these days. Spill." Dinah says threateningly. 

"Aaaand, Dinah Jane is back." I say with a roll of my eyes 
"Don't be rolling your eyes at me child!" Dinah points a finger at my face "Talk. Now." 
"okay okay chill." I raise my hands in surrender 

I fill Dinah up with everything that has been going on. The dinner, the kiss, the dates, the texting, all of that. 

"Wow Walz. You've been getting down and dirty." she says with a vulgar sign. 
"Ugh, you're disgusting Jane. No. We haven't done that. Heck, I don't even know if we're a thing yet." I say with a frown. 
"Well have you talked to Lauren about it?" 
"No" 
"Well, what are you waiting for dumb ass! Go talk to her!" The Polynesian says authoritative 
"What? You mean now?" I ask quizzically 
"Yes of course now! Go get your woman." Dinah says with a smirk. I'm still somewhat out of place, but nod and get up to leave. But before I do I give Dinah a hug. 
"Thanks Cheechee. I love you." 
"Yeah, yeah. I love you too. Now go and tell Lauren that." I blush at her statement and leave. 

Once outside the cafe. I grab my phone from my pocket and text Lauren. 

Me - Hey are you busy? I need to talk to you about something. 
Moron Jergi - Hey princess! Well, I'm done with a meeting now. And I was going to have lunch with Normani. But what's up?
Me - Um, I kind of want to talk it out in person. It's nothing bad! Don't worry :) Can we maybe have dinner tonight and talk?

Moron Jergi - Sure! Your place or mine?
Me - My place :P I'll cook, since you wont have much time to get ready AND cook. 
Moron Jergi - Well okay then :) Excited to see you. What time?
Me - 8 o'clock?
Moron Jergi - Perfect. See you then. Take care beautiful :) 
Me - Take care too gorgeous :3 

I block my phone and put it back in my pocket. I take deep breaths. I have six hours before my date with Lauren, so I decide to head to the grocery store to buy some things. There's one down the street so I can walk and then grab a cab on my way home. 25 minutes later I'm in the store. I'm picking some stuff to make a pasta, since is the only meal I know how to cook without it turning out me calling the fire department. While I'm grabbing an ingredient, someone bumped with my hand trying to get the same thing and knocked it to the floor. We both crouch to pick the pasta and we bumped heads.
