Today you were meeting Jack at the mall. This is the first time you're going to hang out alone. Just as friends. This is the first time you're hanging out period.

He's so cute. His soft sandy hair and big eyes. He's tall and handsome. And he's one of the nicest guys you've ever met. But you don't think he likes you the way you like him...

From what you've noticed he's into tall, skinny, party girls. As for you, you're short. You like to read and draw. Yeah that doesn't mean you don't like going to concerts and stuff, you're just nothing like his type.

When you walk into the mall, you walk into the theater side where he's waiting for you, sitting on the bench on his phone.

"Hey." You say shyly heading towards him.

"Oh hey Mary."

"How are you?"

"I'm good, how are you?"

"Great. So what do you wanna do?"

"Well I was thinking we could do some shopping and then eat and finally a movie?" He asks hopefully smiling.

"That sounds good." You agree.

You both start off walking through the mall stopping from store to store. Until You see your favorite store.

"Oooh have you ever been to FYE?! It's my favorite! Can we go in?" You asked excitedly.

"Whatever you want." He laughs at your enthusiasm.

"Awww look over here." You say dragging him to the speaker section. "There's are so cool. Oh and look over here." You then drag him to the stuffed animals. "This is from a show I watched. I know it's really nerdy to watch anime but I think it's so cool to learn about other cultures and stuff. Ooooh speaking of." You then dragged him to the anime and Japanese food section.

"Oh my gosh you have to try some of this stuff. I'll buy. We can try some when we eat."

He chuckles at this and agrees.

"Alright sorry you had to see me nerd out." You laugh nervously.

"No it's fine, it was...cute." He smiles gently.

Your cheeks tinge pink. Cute? He thinks you nerding out was cute? You think to yourself.

"A-alright. Where to next?" You try to change the subject.

"Well I need some new shirts. And since you seem to know the mall better than I do, do you have any good places in mind?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"Hmmm. Why kind of shirt style? And price range?" You say walking backwards in front of him.

"Hmm. Button ups, not plain though. And I was hoping not too expensive. No big brand things that's over rated." He answers.

"I have the perfect place." You say smirking.

"Oh really?"

And that is how you find yourselves in Ragstock. Sure it smells a little weird but they've got cool printed button ups for guys and a ton of other stuff. Let's not forget, it's inexpensive.
