Oh...

I felt my eyes flutter open.

'When did I fall asleep?' I wondered.

And then I remembered.

I cried myself to sleep last night.

I looked around. Where was Corey's phone?

I began panicking. What if he saw it in my room?

I took a few deep breaths and tried to find a good excuse for why I had his phone.

I sighed, and the got out of bed.

I opened my door and walked into the kitchen.

I was glad it was a Saturday.

"Morning Raven," Jim said sipping his coffee, "I made you some hot chocolate." He pointed at the empty seat with a mug by it.

"Thanks Jim." I said hugging him and sitting down.

I took a sip and quickly glanced at Corey.

He was in his phone. He didn't notice a thing about me taking his phone.

If he didn't take his phone, then who did?

Once I was done with my hot chocolate, I put my mug in the sink and walked back into my room.

But before I could even set foot in my doorway, Craig grabbed my shoulder and spun me around so I was facing him.

"Don't worry, Corey doesn't notice anything because I brought his phone back into his room." Craig explained.

I felt my mouth drop. "How did you-"

"I knew you were looking for answers." He said before I could finish.

"I wish I would've gotten a better answer." I said. I felt more tears in my eyes.

I felt Craig lead me into my room and shut the door.

"C'mere." He said opening his arms.

Without hesitiation, I threw my arms around Craig and softly cried against his chest.

"I'm sorry you feel like this Raven." Craig said rubbing my back.

"I just wish someone would've told me." I murmered.

"None of us really knew. I was just told the other day." He said.

I didn't say anything.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"I don't matter to him anymore Craig." I cried.

"Don't say that Raven."

I shook my head. "If my mother left me, Corey will too." I said.

Craig put his hands on either side of my face so I was facing him. "Don't you ever think that. Corey loves you and so does everyone else." He said firmly.

I sighed. "Okay."

Is he right?

Does Corey truly care?
