She Is Home To You, But Everything To Me

Chapter 1

"Hey Raven." Shawn said hugging me.

"Hey Clown." I replied softly.

"We all decided not to go to the studio today, so we're just chillin' in the living room right now." Shawn explained.

I nodded.

I sat on the couch in between Corey and Chris.

"Hey Raven." Chris said side hugging me.

"Hey Chris."

I looked over at Corey.

His eyes were glued on his phone. I don't even think he noticed me walk in.

I looked at him quizzically.

But then looked back at the TV.

'What the hell?' I thought.

He was just sittting there. It didn't even look like he was moving.

I turned to Chris.

"What's with Corey?" I asked.

Chris shrugged. "He's been acting like this since this morning."

I nodded.

'Okay then.' I thought to myself.

After awhile, Corey started getting annoying. It was like he was in a completely different world.

So, I got up and walked up the stairs to my room.

I collapsed onto my bed and pulled out my notebook.

I had been writing random lyrics for Corey to see when they were finished.

And right now, my mind was blank.

I sighed in frustration and threw my notebook at my door, but I ended up hitting Chris in the face.

"What was that for?" He asked.

I laughed. "Sorry, I'm just frustrated."

"About what?" He asked picking up my notebook.

"I'm working on a song right now, and I don't know what else to put down."

Chris nodded. "Can I read it?"

"Sure." I replied.

Chris began reading it. And once he finished, he was grinning.

"Dude, these are some awesome lyrics." Chris said.

"What do you plan on doing with it?" He asked soon after.

I shrugged. "I kind of wanted Corey to make it into a song. That's what I want for my birthday."

"So you want a song for your birthday then?" Chris asked.

I nodded.

"That's not a bad idea." He mumbled.

Chris was about to walk out, but I stopped him.

"What was up with Corey anyway?" I asked.

Chris shrugged. "I have no clue. It kinda looked like he was texting someone though."

I nodded.

Texting someone huh?

I'd have to ask Corey about that.
