My dearest Haley,

I hope you haven't lost faith in me. I am currently in a hospital in East London and I'm doing fine, although I had better days. I just severed a few broken bones from the crash. One of my lieutenants who crashed alongside me helped me to safety and I owe him my life.

I sincerely hope you didn't get my will. Those adjutants are quick with those M.I.A. letters. I just hope you didn't get one that scared you. I can't wait to see your beautiful smiling face again. Meet me at the train station at 9 o'clock Saturday morning.

These past few days made me realize how much I love you and miss you more than I thought I did.
