The human cleared his throat, hoping his roommate hadn't noticed the quickening of his heartbeat, deciding to just start his story before things got awkward.

"Not much to tell about my family though," he spoke up, "My parents are divorced, but my mum recently remarried. Their divorce was kind of the reason why they sent me to boarding school as they ended up living too far away for me to attend the same school and I didn't really want to choose between them. Uhm, I mostly live with my mum during the holidays though. Oh, and I have an older sister, Gemma. She used to go here too. That's it, apart from my cat, Dusty. I think I've told you about her before?"

The boy looked expectantly up at Louis, whom nodded in return, carefully taking everything in so he wouldn't ever forget any detail of it. Afterwards he gave him a tiny smile. Crinkling eyes, but his mouth still closed, indicating that the vampire was genuinely, truly happy that Harry had shared that part of his life with him, that he had trusted him to do so. It was a private smile, a secretive smile, a 'Harry' smile, just for the green eyed boy.

"So," Harry beamed back, "Now it's my turn again!"

"Yes, love, you can have a go again."

Harry's smile got even bigger when he took notice of Louis' use of nickname.

"I've been dying to ask... " He pointed his sparkling irises directly at Louis, but didn't end his sentence right away, wanting to be dramatic.

"What?"

"how... " He continued cheekily.

Louis rolled once again with his eyes, but couldn't be anything but amused by the way Harry's own joy practically radiated off of him.

"Curly, just ask me."

"You know, I wanted to know because you said it differences from person to person, and you said once mine was good, or nice, I don't remember it that well. It could also be fine, although you don't use that word that much, so it's probably not that. Still, you didn't elaborate and I don't even know if it's okay to ask, but on the other end I really want to know so, yeah, hence the -"

"Harry, you're rambling," Louis smiled, trying to calm the boy's nerves, "Just ask me? I won't judge. You can ask me everything you want, you've earned it."

"How do I smell?"

"Oh," the blue eyed boy breathed spreading his eyes wide open before getting a confused expression immediately afterwards, "uh, why?"

Harry instantly started rambling again, his voice normally a slow steam train, now quickening and rolling like high-speed train, "You said everyone smells different, that they all have a different scent and that I smelled good, or that's what you told."

"So you just want me to explain you how you smell for me?" Louis repeated.

"Yes!" Harry had moved a bit closer to the other boy, his green eyes pointing hopefully up at him.

Louis was quiet for a bit, seeming like he was thinking hard and deep. Afterwards he shook his, keeping a straight face, "No, I don't think I can do that."

"Wait, what? Why?"

"Nope, I just can't do that," he shook his head again, still keeping his poker face intact.

"But you told me I could ask anything?" Harry stated, not understanding why Louis wouldn't just answer his question. Was it such a private matter? Absentmindedly, he moved a tad bit closer to look the other boy in the eyes, not quite sure if he was completely serious.

"That I did," Louis answered matter-of-factly.

"Then tell me," Harry insisted, almost losing his patience. Why was Louis being so difficult?

"No."

Harry squinted his eyes trying to see through the other boy's words, suddenly so close that his nose almost touched Louis small one. He didn't know when he got there, but Harry was almost sitting in his lap, the remainders of his food lying forgotten on the ground. He didn't know how he got there, but he did know that he felt very comfortable being this close to Louis, even though he was a vampire. Maybe a bit too comfortable.

"Please," he breathed, almost whispering, showing Louis once again his own incredible puppy-look that no one could resist. Louis' answer didn't even matter anymore, he just was that stubborn that he wanted to 'win' this, whatever the price, "Please tell me, Lou."

Louis suddenly let all his walls down, a cheeky grin broke out and his blue eyes started sparkling again. He took a moment to muster all his courage, licking his lips. But then while drowning in Harry's green pools, he finally whispered mischievously, "Make me."

It took a second for the words to flood in, to make sense. As the meaning of them reached Harry's brain, he blushed but never let go of Louis' eyes. It literally took just one other second before the boy had made up his mind.

"Harry, i'm sorry, don't -"

But he shut Louis immediately up by closing his own eyes and pressing his plump lips against slightly thinner ones. He never would've imagined to start his first kiss himself, always deeming himself to be much too insecure and shy. Even at this moment he didn't know if he had done the right thing and feared that Louis would reject him.

Luckily the vampire responded by taking hold of Harry's hair and kissing back. He opened his mouth a bit and licked at Harry's bottom lip, asking for entrance and this way dominating the kiss.

Harry moved even closer until he was finally seated on Louis' lap, his hands travelling over the tanner boy's clothed chest. It was everything he expected from his first kiss and more. Sweet touches that set his skin on fire and left a burning flame in his heart. All he could feel was Louis. All sounds were shut out except for his own heartbeat thumbing hard in his chest as the kiss got heated.

A bit later they slowed down, until all there was left were chaste pecks on the lips. When they stopped, Louis rested his forehead on Harry's. Both boys had an enormous grin on their face.

"Hi," Harry breathed.

"Hi," Louis whispered back, "Was it o -" he tried to ask but was suddenly stopped by long, thin fingers poking his back.

He swiftly turned around, hoping to get the rude person leave again as soon as possible so he could talk to Harry again. (and hopefully kiss him some more)

A purple haired girl was stood in front of him with her arms crossed in front of her chest and a glaring expression on her face.

"Louis," she spat while squinting her eyes out of irritation, "Sorry to interrupt, but we must have a little chat right now."

"Perrie," he acknowledged, returning a look of annoyance, "how lovely it is to see you here, I was just talking to Harry. So if you can be a dear and wait an hour, or you know five, I'll be more than happy to speak to you."

"Right now, Louis" she hissed and squinted her eyes even more, not reasoning, leaving no time for discussion.

Louis sassily rolled his eyes, really it started to be a habit, and turned his attention back to Harry. His small 'Harry ' smile had popped up again as he talked to the boy.

"We'll talk later, I'll be right back." He contemplated for a bit but then decided to just go for it and left another small kiss on the rose lips of the green eyed human.

"Let's go," Perrie called, sweeping her purple hair out of her eyes. She took hold of Louis biceps and tried to drag him along.

"Bye, Harry," she added.

Harry was left dumbfounded, watching the two trump away. Harry shook his head out of confusion as he really didn't know what to think of the situation.

"Wait," he spoke up, "didn't you have blond hair just yesterday?"

He didn't receive an answer, but yes, she did.
