English class ended and it's recess time. I was lucky to find a seat at the cafeteria and to eat macaroni and cheese, the cafeteria's special of the day. I was also lucky to talk to someone other than Max and Walter, it was Daisy. I guess I'm starting the new year right.
"Hey, what's up, Oliver!"
"Oh, hey Max! Didn't got the chance to talk to you earlier, you and Walter."
"It's fine, dude. So how's your lovelife?"
"Woah, where did that come from?"
"Daisy."
"What?! Daisy?"
"I guess you had a good chit chat with her."
"Yeah. A friendly one. She likes someone."
"Dex, Dexter Cunningham."
"Yeah."
"Well, he's out of your league, pal."
"I know. Besides, I don't like her. I just find her cute and hot."
"About that hallucinating thing going on with you?"
"I still hear her, dude. I feel like she's something that is real. I still don't know how."
"I'm still not convinced."
"Hey, Max...where's Walter?"
"Oh, man, forgot to tell ya. He had an ankle sprain while practicing for the national championship."
"What? Since when?"
"Yesterday."
"That's gotta hurt."
"Oh, look..it's Daisy, alone in the table. You gotta say hi."
"I don't like her, Max. I just find her cute."
"Right. Well, I gotta blast, I have basketball practice. Coach needs to see me there."
"Wait, you're not attending Math class?"
"I have an excuse letter so...gotta go!"
"So..it's only me? Alone?"
Oliver, for the first time was by himself at Math class. He feels different when Max or Walter isn't around him. He's not really close with the other students that much. He goes to his class and sees Daisy with an empty seat beside her.
"Hey, Daisy!"
"Hi, Oliver!"
"Is it okay that I'll sit next to you?"
"Yeah, sure..no problem.."
"Hey what are you listening to?"
"The Beatles."
"Cool. I love them too."
"Really? I didn't know you're into music?"
"Well. I sing....in the shower...most of the time..."
"Really? Haha."
"Wow. You know that..?
"Know about what?"
"You're really cute when you laugh."
"Thannnnkkkssss."
