My parents and my doctor walked in with a serious look on their faces. My mom started to tear up again.' Honey, the doctor has something important to tell you. Do you want Paige to be here when he tells you?' My mother whispered in my ear. I just silently nodded and starred at the doctor. 'Anna, the concussion you got from the accident is very serious. You've brain damage and on top of that you've a tumor in your brain as well. We can act now and try to fix the brain damage and remove the tumor through surgery. The sooner the better." He said while he flipped through his clipboard. After he was done Paige just ran out. Right before she left I caught a glimpse of her tearing up. I could tell she didn't take it too well. "Lets just go through surgery now" I said slightly upset without a second thought. "Are you sure?" The doctor asked quiet surprised. I just nodded and was wheeled into the O.R. As I was being wheeled in Paige was confused on what was going on. I saw my parents explaining it to her and asking her to go home and get some rest while I was having my surgery. They said that they would call her after I was done.
