“Well he can’t expect us to drink from blood bags forever, can he?” she said. I hated the cold blood bags they tasted terrible.
“No I guess not, come on I can smell the humans at the werewolf party.” I said. We were at the front yard when we were about to enter through the front door, which was wide open.
“Why do they even invite humans anyway?” she asked.
“So, that they seem normal. What if the cops came and busted a party filled with werewolves. Then our entire existence would be exposed.” I answered.
“Makes sense” she said. We were about to walk through the open door when a man, twice both me and Jadens size, blocked it.
“What’s the password there pretty girl?” said the human as he was about to grab my ass.
“Twilight” I said as cliche as I could, I grabbed his neck and fed. The warm blood tasted sweet, the tip of my fingers tingled and my body grew warm. I pulled away and licked away the blood. The wound healed I looked deep into his eyes.
“You won’t remember this. You will forget that we were here and you’re going to let us in.” I said in a menacing voice.
“I won’t remember this and you can go ahead inside.”
“Nicely done.” Jaden whisperd to me.
“Thanks.” When we entered the house the smell of human rushed to my nose.
“Looks like we get to eat good tonight” Jaden said to me. We picked our meal and began to feed. For vampires this was the best feeling you could get. I was having fun picking one human after another making them forget, healing them. In the end it was worth it. I was dancing on the dance floor when someone grabbed me and pushed me to the wall. Their eyes were yellow.
“You’re not welcome here” they said through their teeth. He was about to rip my neck apart but I pushed him and ran. I grabbed my sister and we both were running from them. There were three or four wolves after us. I was freaking out.
“What happen?” my sister yelled as we were running.
“They know what we are, that’s what. Come on run faster there gaining on us, let’s go!” I said as we tried to get away by cutting corner but they were getting closer and closer.
“Up that tree.” I said. And we jumped and climbed leaving the wolves jumping and bark at us. They snapped their jaws and growled at us.
“What are we going to do even if we go from tree to tree they would just follow us.” Jaden said paniced.
“Hold on” I told her as I pulled bombs from my bag. These bombs I kept in my bag in case of emergencies like this. These bombs mess with the werewolves senses and sometimes a vampires senses too.
“Are you crazy, we would all die!” she said. I pulled the tab and threw it down there. It exploded and purple smoke rose up. The wolves whimpered in pain and they started to bump into each other, trying to get away.
“Come on” I said. We climbed down the tree, holding our noses and sliping past the werewolves. Safe to say, we made it out alive.
“What was that?” Jaden asked.
“Wolfs bane bombs, it messes with their senses so that we could have gotten away."
Jaden's POV-
I panted as we arrived home. Those werewolves are fast. I climbed into my window, followed by Audrianna. "I’m going to go check and see if father noticed us gone." I nodded as Audrianna left my bedroom. I sighed, finally catching my breath. Sat on my bed, I clutched my phone, waiting for it to notify me of a message. And while I was waiting, I couldn’t help but let the scene replay over and over again in my head. At the party, I met someone. His eyes were an emerald green, with a hit of yellow. Curly chestnut-brown hair, tall-slim figure. He seemed like a dream. Except one thing. He's a werewolf, a Volgarian werewolf. But not just any, the son of the alpha of the Blue Moon pack. I thought he would have noticed that I was a vampire, because of the smell of blood from my breath. But he didn’t. We talked, and the whole time he contently listened, speaking few words himself. Nothing rushed, just... I guess you could say simple yet it meant something. He's different from any other guy I’ve been with. Vampire or not. Finally I felt my phone vibrate. And that smile that crept onto my face was plastered there for the entire time we talked. "Hey, why'd you have to leave so early? When can I see you again?"
