"Zak come on, yer gonna miss yer bus!" I yelled as I finished cleaning up the mess everyone left at the dining room table.
"I'm here mum,"
"Don't forget this," I said as I handed him his lunch bag.
"Ta,"
"Have fun at school," I waved.
"I will, bye!" he yelled as he ran out if the house.
"Mum!" Jason yelled as he ran into the dining room.
"Hi sweety. What's up?" I said while bringing the rest of the dishes into the kitchen.
"Can ye watch the telly with me?"
"Sure," I mumbled, "I'll be there in a minute,"
"Okay!" he ran into the living room.

A few minutes later I joined him on the couch and we watched a silly kid show he enjoyed. After a few episodes Ringo walked in.

"Lucy, come here please," he said sternly.
"Okay," I mumbled. I got off the couch and followed him into his study.
"Close the door," he said, voice not wavering. I rolled my eyes and quickly shut the door.
"What?" I leaned up against the door, arms crossed over my chest.
"Give me yer ring,"
"What..." I whispered.
"Give me yer ring," he held his hand out.
"Richie whatever's wrong we can work it out," I pleaded.
"Give me the ring Lucy!" My eyes began watering as I slid the sliver ring off my finger. I looked him in the eyes and slowly placed the ring in his hand. "Thank ye," he sighed. He held my hands and got down on one knee.
"What are ye doin?" I asked.
"Its been 5 years, it's the limit y'know, before I gotta do it again," he smiled. "So...Lucy Campbell, will ye marry me?"
"Yes," I took a breath of relief as he placed the ring back on my finger. "Yer such an ass," I chuckled as I pushed him.
"I know," he pulled me into a kiss.
"Hey, y'know the place Mike and Ellie got married?"
"Yeah," he said, trying to remember.
"I'd like a place just like that, but I'd get married in the spring rather than the summer so it's not as hot," I said with a nonchalant tone in my voice as I headed for the living room again.
"Wait," he grabbed my arm, "what?"
"I wanna get married in the spring, not the summer,"
"Ye...ye wanna get married?"
"Yeah," I wrapped my arms around his neck, "I think I've made ye wait long enough," I grinned.
"Are ye sure ye wanna do this? Cause we don't have to if ye don't want to,"
"But I want to..." I smiled.
"I love you," he placed a kiss on my lips.
"I love ye more,"
"Highly doubt it," he hugged me.

A few months passed and we started planning our wedding. We decided to get married in the spring of next year; hopefully we could get everything done in time. I decided to have Ellie as my maid of honor and Ringo had George as his best man. We decided to invite the McCartney's and possibly the Lennon's as well. It was going to be a rather small wedding, no one other than friends and family. One morning I decided to call all of my bridesmaids, Ellie, Michelle, and her sister Jude, and we went wedding and bridesmaid dress shopping.

"Alright, let's get yer dresses first," I said already annoyed by the atmosphere.
"Ye don't seem too excited," Michelle observed.
"This isn't exactly my cup of tea," I sneered.
"I loved wedding dress shopping! It was so much fun!" Eleanor cheered.
"I would've been more excited if I had more money to work with," Michelle chuckled. "Since Paul and I had rather shit jobs we only had about £300 to use for my dress and another £400 for the entire wedding,"
"That sounds awful," I chuckled.
"It was actually a rather nice ceremony," Jude uttered. "Yer dress on the other hand-"
"Shut up!" Michelle laughed as she pushed Jude. "Come on, let's get goin,"
"What should we look for?" Ellie asked as she looked through the racks.
"Okay here's to rule," Michelle said, "if it looks good on me, we get it, cause it's gonna look good on you guys,"
"Why's that the rule?" Eleanor asked.
"I just had twins...it's gonna be a miracle if anythin looks good on me,"
"Fair enough," she shrugged.

They eventually settled on a matching black dress with one strap on the right shoulder. Then we started looking for my wedding dress. I allowed them all to pick out one dress that they thought would look good on me, then of course I picked out a dress myself. I tried on mine first.

It had a beaded halter top with a ball gown skirt. As I stood there looking in the mirror my body froze. I took a deep breath and took a hair band out of my purse. I rushed to put my hair into a high pony and quickly spit curled my bangs. I continued staring at myself as I smiled, with the words, I'm a bride, repeating in my head.

"Would ye like veil?" The consultant asked me.
"I'd love one," I smiled.
"Okay, be right back," she stepped out of the room and returned a few minutes later. "Here ye are," she said as she slipped the veil into my hair. "Yer gorgeous. Do ye wanna show yer friends?"
"No. I don't need their opinion. This is my dress," I said trying to hold back my tears.
"Okay then, I'll ring it up for ye,"
"Ta," I smiled as I started taking everything off.

I walked out to where my friends were sitting; they stared at me with puzzled looks.

"Where's yer first dress?" Jude asked.
"I already found my dress," I smiled.
"And we didn't see it because..." Eleanor asked.
"Because I didn't need any other opinion, it's my dress,"
"Alright," they all shrugged.

After we bought the dressed and made appointments for alterations we all made our separate ways.

"Hey," Ringo said as I walked into the house.
"Hi," I smiled. "Where are the kids?"
"The play room. How was dress shoppin? Did ye find anything?"
"Mhmm,"
"What does it look like?"
"You'll see," I smirked.
"Hey, where do ye wanna go on the honeymoon?"
"I've always wanted to go to Ireland!" I cheered.
"Really?" he chuckled.
"Yeah," I began laughing as well.
"Then Ireland it is," he gave me a quick kiss.
"How'd I get so lucky?"
"I ask myself that everyday."
