Nicki: Girl come on!
Bey: I'm not coming out there. This bikini shows everything!
Nicki: You couldn't leave the dramatics at home for one day?
Bey: I'm not being dramatic. Look at my ass.
Nicki: I'm looking and it looks fine.
Bey: *sighs* You don't get it.
Nicki: I really don't but today is my birthday and I'm not about to sit in here while you cry over nothing. Once you get in the pool, no one will even see you.
Bey: Ugh fine!

We stepped out of that changing room and I held the towel tight around my body. When we walked out everyone was there. The crew, other kids from the home, and even kids from school.
Kaycee: What took y'all so long?
Nicki: You know how Bey's cry baby ass gets.
Kaycee: Of course.
Jay: Are they messing with you bestfriend?
Jay walked over and put his arm around me.
Bey: Yep. They're calling me a cry baby.
Jay: Well..
Bey: Well what?
Jay: You do kinda cry a lot but it's okay.
Bey: I do not!
Jay: Last night you cried watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It's never that deep.
Bey: You know what? Bestfriend cancelled.
Jay: You can't cancel me.
Bey: Just watch.
Aaliyah: Babe, can you make me a turkey burger?
Jay: Yeah, here I come Liyah.
He left from where we were standing to get Aaliyah some food.
Kaycee: I like you guys friendship. It seems genuine.
I wasn't sure if she was being funny or not so I just went along with it.
Bey: Yeah, he's a cool guy.
Meek: Y'all, we're about to play water volleyball!
Kaycee: You coming?
Bey: I'm gonna just chill over here for a minute.
Nicki: Bey don't be a party pooper.
Bey: I'm not. I'll play later, I promise.

Nicki walked away and I just laid back on my chair with my towel wrapped around me. The sun was beaming on me and I realized that I forgot to bring sunscreen. Everyone had locked their things in lockers so I couldn't ask them but there was a guy sitting next to me with headphones on. Maybe he has some.
Bey: Umm excuse me?
I said as I tapped his shoulder. Her removed his headphones and raised his brow at me.
Bey: I was just wondering if you had any sunscreen, I left mine.
The guy: I don't share with strangers.
Bey: Okay then. I just thought I'd ask.
The guy: I'm just kidding. I'll give you some of you tell me your name.
