"Who's knocking?" Normani whispers to me.

"What kind of favor?" he ask.

"I need you to do something for Normani Hamilton" I say.

"Can you lie to her dad when he calls later today and say she's been here all day and make sure the teachers don't Mark her absent?" I ask.

"Are you taking her to skip school?" He ask, then I nod. "I can't"

"But dad you do it for me all the time" I say.

"That's because since I'm the principal of the school that you go to. I could teach you the things you missed" he says.

"Then she can come over. Please" I beg, then he sighs.

"Fine pumpkin. Just make sure you don't get lost. Okay?" He says, then I nod and give him a hug. I go to the door.

"Oh and dad.." I say, then he looks at me "don't call me pumpkin" then I left.

"Hey" Normani says.

"Hey. Let's go" I say, then I hold her hands.

"Where are we going?" She ask.

"Anywhere. We're skipping school" I say.

"Where are we going?" She ask.
