Forget Vampires, What About Me?

Chapter Two - New Life, New School.

I came down the stairs to huge open space living room with lots of glass windows. I looked around. I saw a piano, a t.v, a few sofas and chairs on a thick white carpet and a hi tech Apple computer in the corner. I quickly googled The Twilight Saga and looked at the results, there wasnt anything about a vampire romance novel called Twilight, or any other book in the Twilight series. I quickly googled Stephanie Meyer, and she came up on google. She had written Host, but never Twilight, I sighed, this was going to be one long day. I closed down the computer and walked away. I looked round and found everyone in the kitchen. I made my grand enterance and sat at the table with everyone crowding round me.

'Open mine first!' squealed Alice excitedly. It was medium sized box covering black and white wrapping paper.

'Thanks Alice' I smiled and tore it open. It was a Apple MacBook.

'Wow, thanks Alice. You didnt have to' I told her, trying to sound enthusiastic. All i could concentrate on was how I ended up here. There was a small awkward silence as Carlisle and Esme pushed a present towards me.

'Happy birthday Amy' they told me. This was also a medium box, with ballons on the wrapping. I opened the present carefully. I looked up at them.

'You shouldnt have. This is... wow' I breathed. It was an statment from my bank, saying that a large sum of money had been put into my account from Carlisle and Esme. I could never be happier! It was getting more towards time for school, so I opened the rest of the presents in a bit of a rush. From Edward, I got new pair of knee high green converses, from Rosalie and Emmet I got an iTunes card and from Jasper I got a small box of paper clips, as I have an obession with paper clips ^.^ .

After I had opened my presents, it was time for school, so I grabbed my bag and climbed into Edwards car with Alice and Jasper. I sat in the back Jasper as Alice sat in the passenger seat next to Edward. Forks High School was now my school in my american vampire life. It makes a change from my british human life, thats for sure. I looked at my school planner. I had geometry, what the hell is geometry? I never had that when i was in England. I also had some music and sports and english mixed in, with a few other lessons that I didnt care about. I met up with Edward at lunch and we walked in together. I could hear everyones voices and speak back to them apparently. I talked to Edward this way for most of lunch. I had my back to the window so I could see everyone and what was going on.

'She'll look as soon as your turn away. Jessica is telling her what your doing right at this very moment' I spoke outloud to Edward. He faced me.

'How do you know?' he asked. I slid back in my chair.

'Pure epicness' I smiled. I nodded at her.

'Shes looking at you now' I told him. He moved his eyes to try and look at her without moving his head.

'I'm gonna go talk to her' I told him. He grabbed my arm.

'You do and i'll rip your neck open' he hissed.

'I look forward to it' I smiled at him over my shoulder as I skipped towards Bella and her friends.

'Hi' I smiled as a grabbed a chair.

'Urrm, hi' Bella greeted me shakily.

'Whats up?' I asked, being overly friendly.

'Who are you?' asked one her Bellas male friends.

'I'm Lil-' I stopped short.

'I'm Amy. Amy Maribell Cullen, you?' I asked Bellas friends.

'Well, I'm Jessica Stanley. Thats Mike Newton, Eric Yorkie, Angela Webber and Tyler Crowley' Jessica informed me.

'Cool, well, hi. So what were we talking about?' I smiled.

' Well, we were talking about leaving. Bye Amy' said Jessica. Bitch. Everyone but Bella and Mike left.

'Sorry about her' Bella apologised uncomfortably. I shrugged and half smiled.

'Meh. I get it all the time'

'Urrm, Bella, we have to go and get our books' Mike said and got up.

'Yeah. Bye Amy' Bella smiled and picked up her lunch try and walked away. I sat at the table for a little bit then got up and skipped back to Edward.

'Well?' He spat at me.

'It went very well, now they think the whole family is filled with wackos. Apart from Bella, she thinks everyone is a bit strange and mysterious. Apart from you, she thinks your both of those things and more' I told him.

'Whatever' He said airily.

Lunch soon finished and as did the school lessons. I walked out through the doors and skipped to the cars, where everyone was waiting.

'Well, hello my family' I smiled. I saw into Edwards mind at that moment. He was thinking about Bella, then, out of no where a blue van came spinning round the corner. I should probably mention at this point, that it was extreamely cold, and it had been snowing all day, so there was ice all over the road. It must have been going at about fifty miles an hour in a school parking lot.

So as I was saying, it came skidding round the corner and sliped over some ice and went spinning towards Bella. I saw panic flash in Edwards eyes and he ran at super human speed (yay! I has super human speed!) towards Bella.

'What does he think he's doing? He'll expose us!!' Rosalie hissed, just enough for us to hear.

'Dont worry, no one will see him' I spoke calmly. Everyone just game me mixed looks of confusion and anger.

Edward got there just intime to stop the blue van from hitting Bella and he helped her up. I could see her face, she was confused and she knew that he wasnt there next to her. A crowd of people started gathering round, checknig to see if Bella was okay. I got into the car as I saw Edward escape the crowd and walk away. I spoke to his mind.

-Rosalie. Is. Pissed.

I told him, my mind to his.

-So is everyone else.

On the way back I took my time to look at Forks and... how... green it was. I stared out the window and looked at Jasper in the window. He always seemed as if he was in pain. His stone face always set in one expression. I should mention that Edward, our driver, drives. Like. a. maniac. Never let him drive your car, EVER!

So, with Edwards driving we soon arrived home, but I decided to go for a walk, to figure everything out. Things like:

Was I going to stay in this life for ever?

Was it only a one night thing?

Is it really that bad?

I just needed to sit and think on my own for a while. I told Carlise where I was going and quickly stepped out the door. I must have walked for a good hour before I found a nice log to sit on. I sat there for a while and thought about my new life, and it had to bring me, and was I going to hate it?

I started to get up, when I heard a growling noise. I slowly turned round and saw the biggest wolf you had ever seen. I couldnt believe my eyes. I started shaking.

'Please dont hurt me!' I croacked. The wolf moved its head to the side looking confused. I took a quick peek into the wolfs mind, and heres what I found:

*Wolfs PoV*

What? Why is she shaking? Wait... Shes scared! A Cullen! Scared of the wolf. I never thought I'd see the day. Woah... The blood suckers reading my mind...

*Amys PoV*

Before I knew what was happening I saw the wolf jump at me, and I blackout from fear.
