Blues and Beyond

I wandered into a door,

Shining into my blues.

Everything stayed dull,

Only the glittering blue with lament clues.

The stocked up bar,

The heart wrenching music,

Called me to dive,

Into the air, sobbing and sick.

The tears of sorrow,

The shrills of my horrors,

The cries of my wounds,

Into the rhythm crooned.

There were people from my memories,

There were voices of my epiphanies.

"If only" and "What would it be like" many,

All in one place, but no sign of comfort any.

This is my mind's blues palace,

Where I come to die,

After I have faced another defeat from life,

To come out without blues, with new me, alive.
