I sat and cried,
The day I realised.
That your words were,
Just a mirror of
What I thought of myself.
You said that I was a loser,
You said I couldn't make it big,
You said I have no courage,
You vilified me.
You were right,
But not all through.
You were right then,
Not today.
Cause, Today I don't see
The mirror and see the same me.
Yesterday what you said to me,
Isn't what defines me today.
I may be a loser,
I may not be able to make it big,
But today,
I have the courage to try.
