When I could dance

Where the air breathed through my stances,

Where the chaos of inexplicable emotion released through my body,

Where my hair was flipped through the extravagance of amour,

Where my eyes said much more than the background music,

Where the cheer mattered more than just the claps,

Where I was enveloped by me

And the thousand eyes on me,

Felt not to judge,

But to feel through me,

My music rushed,

My passion blushed,

My paramour stood in my embrace,

That was when,

I could dance.

That was where I wanted to live,

That was where I was happy,

That was where I had only felt in me,

That was the last time,

I was alive.

That was when my dance,

The love,

The passion,

The only true me,

My dance,

Spoke more of me,

Than my words ever could.

And that was where,

I wanted to be.

That was when

I was happy.
