"Too bad." She stuck her tongue out.
I decided to get up and get ready. I took a shower and blow dried my hair before throwing a beanie on. I changed into my black jeans and Isaac's hoodie. I finished getting ready and followed Maya outside. She lives close to our school so we just walked.
"So how do you feel?" Maya asks.
"Well, it's a little chilly right now." I comment.
"I meant about Isaac." She glared at me.
"I know." I chuckled. "I don't know, I feel the same? I mean he's my boyfriend now which is cool."
"Mhmm, I'm still rooting for Daren." She grinned.
I laughed rolling my eyes.
We headed towards the school entrance and people were kind of staring. Did I forget to wear pants again? I look down. Nope I'm all good.
"Hey guys..." Drew walks up to us feeling uncomfortable. "Is it just me or are they staring?" He whispered.
"They're staring." Maya said.
"I'm just gonna..." I pull up the hood to my jacket and pull on the strings so that it closes around my face and only my nose is sticking out.
"Damn it Lena, you're gonna crash." They chuckled.
"I'm not here. " I kept walking blindly hoping people would move out the way and my friends would guide me. I was wrong.
Suddenly I crashed into someone's chest.
"Woah, Lena what are you doing?" Isaac chuckled opening the hoodie to reveal my face.
"Much better." He chuckled bringing me into a hug.
"Well we're just gonna..." Maya and Drew scurried off.
"Wait, uh okay bye."
"Hey wanna grab breakfast before class?" He took my hand in his.
"Um duh." I chuckled walking along with him.
"What do you want babe?"
"Just that poppy seed muffin." I smile.
He grabs what he wants and grabs me a muffin.
"Thanks." I smile up at him.
"Hey, so I have practice after school but I was hoping you'd wait for me and then we can go grab something to eat."
"Yeah sure, I have to ask though." I take his hand and lead him to a table.
"Don't you have a first period to get to?" He asks.
"Nah, it can wait, food is more important." I shrug.
"Alright." He chuckles.
"You don't have a first right?"
"Nope." He grins.
"You are a lucky man." I sigh. "Yearbook is torture."
"Hey make sure they get my good side." He starts to pose.
I laugh smacking his arm. "Haha, very funny."
"Kidding." He leans over and pecks my cheek.
I sigh finishing my muffin." Alas I must get to class." I stand up dramatically.
"I'll walk you." He stood up throwing away our trash.
He took my hand once again and led me to class.
"I hate this class." I grumble on our way.
"Well it hates you too." He teased.
"Here I am." I sigh. "See you later. "
I start to walk away and he takes my hand pulling me into his chest. "Fancy meeting you here." I chuckle.
"You forgot my goodbye kiss." He teased.
I chuckled leaning in and hovering my lips over his and pulling away to kiss his cheek quickly. "Bye." I winked opening the door to my class and walking in.
"You're late." The teacher reminded me.
"I know." I walked over to my seat by Drew and huffed.
"Late are we?"
"Just a tad."
"Hmm."
I smiled sheepishly and turned on my computer.
