Everything Has Changed

     Nathan laid next to me in a hollow room with only one window and a weak door. He stared into my eyes as we laid together in bed. I cupped his face with my vein-y hand and he gave a small smile before kissing it. Nate was going to battle today and I couldn't help but worry, he'll be on the field but he wants me to stay in this cabin for safety precautions. Alpha Leland walked in and told Nate it was time. I hugged him tightly and he kissed my forehead before leaving. I curled up and could faintly hear my own heartbeat.

     The rain fell upon the window and the sound of growls, ripped fabric, and blood spatter filled the air. I slowly approached the window and watched as everyone fought. No matter how hard I looked I couldn't find Nate but I could feel him. Every time he got hit I could feel the harsh impact. He got hit in the stomach and the force of it caused my water to break ~all over the floor. I screamed out and fell to the ground. The constant impact caused three of my ribs and my left wrist to snap in half. Luna Maria and Luna Stephanie rushed in and saw the terrible sight that was me.

    The feeling of little Nate clawing his way out of my uterus and the constant blows that Nate was experiencing were complete torture. The pain caused me to black out and the feeling of cold and loneliness filled my body and soul.

Nathan

     Jezebel's minions out numbered us by many and there were still some on the way. I looked up to the gods before saying a little prayer. The battle began and so did the bloodshed. I walked around and helped fend off the minions but one caught my eye. It was none other than the damn witch who turned me into the beast I am today. I ran towards her and she started to run in the opposite direction. I reached my arm out to grab her just as a punch was thrown to my stomach. I looked up to see Chong standing before me. I kicked him in the stomach and he threw multiple punches to my ribs before breaking my wrist. 

       I jumped up and grabbed him by the neck, snapping it harshly. Following the scent I continued to follow her. She was cornered between me and a rock wall. I gripped her arm and just as I was about to rip it off Alpha Leland calls my name.

"What!" I shouted

"We need to go, now!" He grabbed my shoulder.

"You have three sec..."

"Your wife is dying." He flung his arm off of me.

       I looked at her before looking at him and then ripped her arm off, letting out a loud growl. We took off for the cabin where I saw the horrible mess. Jessie was laid out on the bed with her legs gaped open and her clothes bloodied. Luna Maria handed me the baby, who was covered in a blood towel. Jessie's eyes slowly opened and fixed them on me.

"Nate...I need you to..." Her voice raspy.

"You need me to what? Baby please!" 

"I need you to take care of Ezra." She cupped my cheek.

"Babe you'll be ok, just don't leave me. Jessie don't you leave me. You can't leave me!" I shouted.

"I love you." She voiced barely before slipping her eyes closed.

Well it's official guys the book has come to an end. There will be an epilogue and yes Jessie is dead.
