EPILOGUE
Present Time
"Christine! Christian!" I knocked on the bedroom door of my twin babies, bumukas ang pinto at bumungad si Christine na halatang kakagising lang dahil magulo ang buhok.
"Good morning, Ma!" She gave me her morning kiss, sumunod naman sa likod niya si Christian, he gave me a kiss on the cheek at saka siya humikab.
"Morning, Ma." Christian greeted with a smile.
"Birthday ng Papa niyo ngayon." I said with a smile, "how about we give him a surprise he will never forget?"
Nagkatinginan ang kambal. "Ngayon ba ang birthday ni Papa?" Christine asked.
Umiling si Christian at saka siya tumingin sa akin, "Ma, bukas pa po ang birthday ni Pa."
Nanlaki ang mata ko saka ko tinignan ang calendar ng phone ko, napaawang labi na lang ako. "Oh my ghad, you're right."
"Hay naku Ma, excited na naman." Natatawang saad ni Christine.
It's been almost ten years, I never thought that my baby blessing would be twins. Christian and Christine really reminds me of the twins who had a big role in my past...
Vian and Gian..
"Ma! We have a surprise to you!" Sabay na sigaw nina Christine and Christian.
"What is it?" I smiled, hinila ako ng dalawa papasok ng kwarto nila.
"Surprise!" Bago pa man ako maka-react ay tumama na sa mukha ko ang unan, tinignan ko ng masama si Gian na pasimuno ng lahat ng kalokohan.
"Ah ganun ha!" Kinuna ko ang unan at binato ito sa kanya, before I knew it, we were all having a pillow fight and were laughing like there was no tomorrow.
Well, there is no tomorrow because I have today to look forward to.
Let me tell you of a story about a victim wife. It all starts with a once upon a time, eventually, she found her happily ever after. I found my happy ending.
Life may seem so unfair... but as you walk it, you will see that love, fairytale, and happy ending does exist... because I finally found mine.
