Chapter 30
Lean POV
That night when I said yes, nag-check in kami ni Gian sa hotel niya, hindi ko na inisip pa ang sunod naming ginawa, but that night I still remember it clearly... we made love.
Lately, nakakaramdam ako ng morning sickness and there's this moment that I will suddenly crave for sweet things, "you need a pregnancy test." Sabi ni Sebby sa akin noong ikwento ko sa kanya anh mga nangyayari sa akin. "Or you need to have a check-up with your doctor."
"Yup, para mabuksan ang mata mo na buntis ka." Cyan agreed with a grin. "Hindi ka nagsasabi ah, ikaw ah. Kelan kayo gumawa?"
Namula ako. "Mga walang hiya kayong dalawa!" Sigaw ko, tumawa lang sila at nagpaalam na, leaving me alone in my office to think about the matter.
It's been almost a month and last week was supposed to be my period but it was delayed, Gian and I planned to have our wedding before christmas, hindi ko maiwasang maisip... paano kung buntis nga ako?

Lumabas ang doctor ko, a smile was plastered on his elderly face, "ano po ang resulta?" Kinakabahan na tanong ko... I played with my fingers as he show me the paper in his hands.
He smiled. "Positive, congratulations Ms. Cassiopea-Mrs. Fuentelord, you're going to be a mother soon, you're three weeks pregnant." Napaawang labi ako, happiness suddenly evaded my heart as I hear the news.
I'm pregnant!!!
Hindi ko maiwasang maisip si Gian, ano kaya ang reaksyon niya kapag malalaman niya na buntis ako? Oh, I will surprise him with this news.

I started living again with Gian, nothing much really happened after his proposal to me, hindi na nangambala pa si Kim since nakakulong naman na siya so everything is happy and fine. We are only waiting for our wedding soon.
"Ikakasal ulit ang pinsan ko." Jett smiled, sa tabi niya ay si Alva. Mukhang alagang alaga si Jett since he gained some weight-but not that much.
I took a sip of the iced tea at ngumiti sa pinsan ko, "ganoon talaga." I chirped.
Hinawakan ni Jett ang kamay ni Alva, "pinsan, my wife is pregnant."
Napaawang labi ako. "Congrats!"
"Shh, huwag kang maingay, sikreto lang natin ito." Ngumisi si Jett, "magiging tatay na rin ako sa wakas. Ikaw? Wala ba kayong balak ni Gian na gumawa?"
Ngumiti ako, "we will go there, soon."
Tumawa si Jett, "sabihin mo sa asawa mo galingan niya sa kama. Hahahaha!"
Sinapak ni Alva si Jett, "sorry na lang sa asawa ko, ah?" Paumanhin niya sa akin. "Ikaw talaga!"
Ngumiti ako sa dalawa, mukhang masaya si Jett kay Alva. "O'sya insan, may aasikasuhin pa ako." Saad ko at tumayo na.
"Sige." Hinalikan ako ni Jett sa pisngi at niyakap naman ako ni Alva. I wanted to tell them I'm pregnant too pero ang gusto kong ang unang makakaalam nito ay si Gian-he is the father, after all.

I don't really know how to tell Gian that I'm pregnant but I cooked us a dinner, I plan to tell Gian tonight that he will finally be a father soon.
Noong nakaluto ako ng pagkain ay agad akong naligo at nagbihis, I made it sure that I look presentable for tonight. Nakarinig ako ng busina ng sasakyan sa labas, that gives me a sign that Gian is finally home from work.
Dali kong inayos ang buhok ko at naglakad pababa, I saw Gian opening the door. "What's with that getup?" He asked as he look at me with a smile.
Ngumiti ako as I lead him to the backyard garden, "wala naman..."
He stole a kiss from me and grinned, "wow, ikaw ba ang nagluto?" He asked when he saw the foods in front, amazed with the dishes served in the table.
Tumango ako, "Gian..."
"Yes, my wife?"
"I'm..."
"Hmm?"
"I'm pregnant."
Gian's eye sparkled with life, he looked at me, his eyes suddenly became teary. "Magiging... tatay na ako?"
I smiled and nodded. "Yes, you will."
He suddenly pulled me and gave me a warm passionate kiss, "oh my god, I love you, Lean! Magiging tatay na rin ako sa wakas!" He shouted happily, parang nawala ang bakas ng pagod sa kanyang mukha-only traces of happiness and light was left on his face. He stole another kiss, "thank you, Lean.. thank you for this wonderful gift..."
Tears escaped my eyes as he pulled me closer and kiss me slowly, "I love you, wife."
