"Reece, we just don't have that kind of money to be spending right now. After my first pay check maybe."

Reece sighed. He missed his old job and was so sick of asking his parents for money. Back home, he could literally buy what he wanted when he wanted. Now, he had to beg his mother to buy him a new pair of shoes that had just dropped. He was sort of a sneaker head.

"There gonna be sold out by then, but ok."

Reece's mother and father were great to him, he couldn't deny that. They provided him and his brother with everything they needed, even when they didn't have it themselves.

Coming from two immigrant parents, his mother being Trinidadian and his dad being Cuban, there were times growing where he didn't know if they were going to make it, but his Dad was blessed with a new, well paying job in America and they finally had some financial stability for once.

"Reece, I said on my next pay check. Now go help your brother practice his soccer."

Reece rolled his eyes, deciding to let it go for the time being. "Alright."

He knew he probably sounded like he was doing a lot, but he couldn't help it. He wasn't used to having to depend on his parents for everything. Back home, he always had some kind of hustle. As soon as he found the time though, he would go searching for some kind of part-time job. Preferably a retail store, just like he worked at in London.

He pecked his mother's cheek before heading to his brothers room. Flinging the door without warning, he caught his twelve year old brother, Jameson, within mid masturbation. He quickly shut his laptop. "Don't you knock?!!" He yelled, pulling his hand out of his pants.

Reece leaned on the door frame and burst into fits of laughter. He remembered those days. Finally realizing how his hormones and private parts worked.

"Don't you ever lock your door lefty?"
Reece joked.

His little brother squinted his eyes in utter annoyance. "Stop acting like you've never done it before."

"I didn't say I haven't, I'm just saying maybe you should lock your door next time." Reece finally calmed down, sighing a little bit. He could still feel that painful knot in his diaphragm from laughing so hard.

Jameson's face was as red as a tomato and as much as he tried to play it off, he was embarrassed he had been caught handling his private business.

"Anyways pack your shit," Reece continued. "Mum wants me to help you practice with your fútbol." He began to walk out of the room.

"I don't need your help."
Reece turned back around.

"Apparently you do. If you didn't, you wouldn't be standing on the sidelines half of playing time."

"Fuck you."
Reece swiftly walked towards the young boys bed, bending down and placing his hand behind his ear. "I'm sorry what was that?"

Jameson held his head down, retreating from his smart remark. "Nothing." He mumbled.

"Oh okay." Reece stood up, straightening out his back and heading out the room again. "Now pack your stuff like I said."
