Arriving To LSU

"Ary wake up." August says tapping me. I open my eyes slowly adjusting to the lights. Stretching my arms out I accidentally hit August. I start laughing "I'm sorry.". "Betta be sorry." He says mushing my head. He grabs our carry-on bags and start walking. Following right behind him I just smile. It's so strange how cute he's become to me these past couple months. But it's not like he'll ever like me. I erase that thought from mind and focus on finding our luggage.

"Right there!" I say pointing to my last suitcase. I trail my suit cases behind me. "We need to find a cab." I say. "Nah my homeboy picking us up, there he go come on shorty." He says picking up the pace. Good thing I decided on wear Jordan's instead of heels. "What's good Tez." August says dapping the guy up. "Man I ain't seen ya in a while , this ya girl lil aug?" He ask looking at me. August bust out laughing harder then he should have. I roll my eyes at August. "No I don't date animals." I say with a grin on my face. That shut August right up. "Well it's a pleasure too meet you...". "The names Aryanna but you can call me Ary." I say smiling. "Beautiful smile." He says. I could feel my cheeks start getting hot indicating that I was blushing.

"Alright alright let go a nigga hungry for some crawfish!" August yells out. I get in the back while August loads our stuff in the trunk of the car. "Y'all tryna stop and eat first?" Tez ask. "Hell yeah , you hungry Ary?" August ask. "Yeah I'm down.". I pull out my phone and start texting my mom letting her know we made it safe.

"How old are you shorty?" Tez ask. "I'm 18.". "You a baby!" He says with that thick ass accent. I laugh. "What's funny ?". "Your accent.". "Man shit sexy ain't it?" He ask stroking his goatee. "Sure whateva helps you sleep at night.". He sucks his teeth. August starts laughing. "August where's your box?" I ask. "It's in the back with our stuff.". I lay my head back and plug in my headphones.

"Let's go. Aug says. I get out the car and follow them into this little restaurant. "It's smells amazing in here." I say sitting down. "You about to taste that good ole soul food baby." Tez says.

"Welcome may I take ya order?" This little old lady ask. She's so pretty and her accent is on point. "I'll have this." I say pointing down to the menu. Tez and Aug order their food and she leaves.

"So Aug why you ain't tryna bag Ary?" Tez ask. "That's my best friend man she ain't ready fa a real nigga like me." August says. I roll my eyes "Please you couldn't handle me August !". " I can." Tez says licking his lips. The waitress brings our food and we start devouring it. I take a bite of the Mac and cheese it's like one the best I've ever tasted. "This is heaven!" I exclaim.

"Told ya Louisiana food the bomb!" Aug says. "Bet you can't cook like this.". "Girl I'll put yo cooking ta shame!" Aug says. "We should head to campus" I say.

Arrival to campus.....

"Look at all the beautiful females."Aug says. "Come on toothpick.". Aug pushes me. "I almost fell smart ass.". "That's what you get fa calling me toothpick.". I pull out my paper with my dorm information. "Where's it at ?" I ask. "How am I suppose ta know?". "August shut up before I hit you.".

"Over there." August points towards this building. I follow him. All the females that pass August look like they are practically ready to fuck him right there and then. "Hi." Some chick says waving to August. He simply nods at her.

"Alright Ary here's your room." he says opening the door. "Thank you best friend.". He pulls my stuff inside the room and helps me settle in. "I'm about to go find my spot , I'll come back a check on you." He says before leaving. "I'll probably be asleep , just text me.". "Cool, bye best friend.".

At least the dorm is pretty spacious. I fix my stuff up in the empty closet. I'm assuming my roommate already out having fun. I grab my towel and stuff so I can go take a shower. Letting the hot water run down my body feels so relaxing. I'm going to make the best out of this semester. I bet at this point August has gotten hundred females numbers. I run the water off and let some water drip off my body. Wrapping the towel around my body I grab my lotion.

"What's up roomie!" I hear someone say. I put my clothes on then open the bathroom door. "Hi." I say smiling. "Don't be shy girl! I'm Latoya." She says extending her hand. "Aryanna but Ary for short." I shake her hand back. "You thicker than a snicker !". I laugh "Thank you.". "You're welcome girl , the boys out here will love you.".

I gather my things and place them in the closet. "Well I'm going to shower girl.". "Okay goodnight Latoya.".
