Chapter 30

MASTER CULLEN P.O.V.~

I was sitting in my throne thinking. I don't know why, but I always do. I think on my throne mostly when Roper's not here. I sent him to walk around for a bit. The rest of our army were in another room, doing whatever they do.

I look over to Zane. Zane is dirty, from sitting there. He hasn't talked at all the last few days and his cheeks were always red from crying. He also had bags under his eyes. He had food set beside him because he never really ate when we tried to feed him. He couldn't eat himself because his hands were handcuffed and we didn't want to risk the chance of him getting away. His uniform was also a bit ripped. I seen Zane put his head down and closed his eyes.

I look over to Zane's handcuffed hands, a pole separating his hands from his body. His wrists were very red, dried blood around the handcuffs and around his wrists. There was even a bit of fresh blood. I watch as a drop of blood runs down his hand. Zane never even flinched.

I sigh and got up. I walked over to Zane. Zane never looked up or anything, keeping his eyes closed and never moving. I kneeled down in front of his hands. I then pull out the key from my pocket and unlock the handcuffs. Zane took his hands away and held his wrists. I stand up and walk in front of him.

"Come with me Zane. Don't even think about running away. I have my powers, you don't. I'm not planning on letting you go." Zane said nothing in return.

I turn around and walk, Zane's footsteps following close behind. After a few minutes, we made it to the medical room.

I turn to Zane. "Sit over there and stay put." I pointed to the little table at the other side of the room. I watch as Zane walks over to the table and sits down. I stayed on the other end to get everything I needed.

"What is your element?" Asked Zane. That was the first time he spoke in quite a while.

"Darkness." I answered. "Roper's element is invisibility." I walk over to Zane, having everything I need. I kneel down and take one of Zane's hand. Zane flinched.

"Ow!" Said Zane as I put some alcohol on the cut. I look up at him and look back down. For the past ten minutes, I have been fixing Zane up. I was now wrapping bandages around his wrists.

"How did you meet Roper?" I look up at Zane and smiled.

"It's a long story." I finished putting on the bandages. I got up, walked over to the other side of the room, and started to put everything away.

ZANE P.O.V.~

I watched Cullen put everything away. I look down at my hands. They were dirty and red. They still hurt a lot, but I've gotten used to the pain, so it really didn't bother me. I also miss everyone, especially Cole. I want to see Cole again. I miss him kissing me, embracing me, his black hair, yellow eyes. Everything.

I felt tears run down my cheeks. My tears were warm. My sight gets blurry from the tears.

"What's wrong Zane?" Cullen said, showing no emotion. I look up to face Cullen. "Miss your friends?" I glared at Cullen as more tears ran down my cheeks. Cullen smiled.

"Don't worry Zane. You'll be fine." I put my head back down. I just cried.

KAI P.O.V.~

Nya, Mary, and I were sitting in the kitchen. Everyone else was in the game room and Sensei Wu was in his room. Cole and Xavier were still sleeping.

"Kai?" I look over at Nya.

"Ya?"

"Do you want to go over to where Zane got kidnapped and look around? I feel like we're missing something from there."

"I think you guys should go." We both look over to Mary. "I also feel like you guys are missing something. I think it would be good to go and check. Cole would probably want that too."

"Ya." I said. "We could get going in a bit."

Cole then walked into the kitchen with Xavier holding his hand.

"Good morning Xavier." Said Mary.

"Good morning Mom, Nya, Kai."

"Morning Cole." I said.

"Morning." Cole smiled. Cole had bags under his eyes and his hair was not really messed up, but strands of hair were a bit all over the place. His face was also red, like he was crying. I don't think he slept well.

"Mom! Come get some food with me!" Yelled Xavier.

"Alright honey." Mary got up and walked over to the food with Xavier. Cole walked over and sat down next to me. Cole put his head down on the table.

"Cole?" I ask.

"Hmmm?" Cole mumbled.

"Do you want to look where Zane got kidnapped?"

Cole nodded his head while still keeping his head down.

"I'll go tell Sensei." Nya then ran off.

"And I'll go get ready." Cole got up and walked off.

"Will Cole be okay Kai?" I look over to Mary, who was sitting next to Xavier, eating.

"I believe he will Mary. Cole's strong." We then exchanged smiles.

(Time skip)

COLE P.O.V.~

We were in the alleyway where Zane got kidnapped. Kai, Nya, and I were searching for anything that could help us, but so far, we haven't found anything.

I was angry and sad. I wanted to scream and cry, but I didn't.

"I think I found something." I turn around and walk over to where Kai is. Nya kneeled down across from him while I just stood. Kai pointed to a substance on the ground.

"It's some sort of substance." Said Nya. "It's white too. It's looks like a chemical, but I'm not exactly sure. I'll have to take a look at it back at the Bounty."

I look out of the alleyway. Families walked around happily. It made me sad because that could've been us. If Zane wasn't kidnapped, we would be happier. I started to feel tears run down my cheeks. I missed him so much.

"Cole." I turn around to look at Kai. "You okay?" Kai softened. He showed concern. I seen Nya also looking concerned.

"I-I'm okay." I wiped the tears off my face with the back of my hand.

"I have everything we need." Said Nya. "We can go back now." I nodded. All of us then walked off, Kai and Nya making me feel better the whole way.

Hey guys!!! The update is finally here! Sorry that it took so long to get this chapter published. I had a bit of writers block, but I don't anymore. I will try to update this book more.
