Chapter 20

COLE P.O.V.~

I wake up to the sun shining in my face, sweat covering my forehead. I move to a sitting position on the couch and wiped my forehead with the back of my hand. I look at the back of my hand and see it shine.

"Ew." I said. I wipe my hand on my leg. I look at the time and see that it is eleven o'clock. After I seen the time, I remembered the others. I realized that Zane is not sleeping on me and that blankets are scattered around the floor, nobody using them.

'I guess that everybody is up.' I thought. 'Why did I sleep so late.' I then seen movement from the corner of my eye and I turn my head to face the kitchen doorway. I see Xavier standing there.

"Hey Xavier." I say to him while smiling.

Xavier then walked over to me and smiled.

"Hi Cole." Said Xavier. "Did you just wake up?" I nodded my head in agreement.

"Everybody was wondering when you'd wake up."

I laughed. "Ya. I don't know why I woke up this late." I started to run my hand through my hair. 'I need a shower.' I thought. I closed my eyes while thinking this.

Just then a hand grabbed my wrist of my hand that I wasn't running through my hair. I opened my eyes to see Xavier trying to pull me up.

"Come on." Said Xavier. "Come get your breakfast."

"Okay, okay." I said while laughing. I got up and Xavier pulled me towards the kitchen.

XAVIER P.O.V.~

When I brought Cole to the kitchen, I sat him down in the chair.

"I'm going to go get your breakfast." I said.

"Alright Xavier." Said Cole. I ran over to Cole's breakfast and put it in the microwave to warm it up. After it was done, I took it out and brought it over to Cole.

"Here you go Cole." I said.

"Thanks." Cole said while ruffling my hair. I blushed a bit. I then sat down in the chair next to him.

"So..." I said. Cole turned his head to look at me. "How's the breakfast?"

"Amazing." Answered Cole. "Did Zane make this?" I nodded my head. Cole then smiled at me. "Zane always makes amazing food."

I smiled back at Cole. I also noticed that Cole was blushing a bit. Just then Jay, Lloyd, and Nya walked in.

"Hey Cole." Said Jay. "So you're finally awake now?"

"Ya." said Cole. "Where were you guys?"

"We were just sitting on the deck." Lloyd answered for Jay and Nya nodded in agreement. "But Zane, Kai, and Sensei are out in the city."

Then my mother walked out of the hallway.

"Hello." Said my mother.

"Hello." All of us said at once. Then Lloyd, Jay, Nya, and my mother sat down with Cole and I. We then started to talk.

SENSEI WU P.O.V.~

Zane, Kai, and I were walking around the city. We did it just to take a walk and see if anything might happen. I look over to Zane and Kai, who were in the right side of me. They were talking about Roper.

"Do you think Roper will show up?" Asked Kai. He was looking to both Zane and I.

"I don't know Kai." I answered back.

"I want him to." Said Kai. "I want to give him a piece of my mind. Don't you Zane?" Kai looked over to Zane for an answer.

"I don't really know, but I didn't like it when he hurt Cole, Jay, and Lloyd at all."

"Me neither." I said. "I disliked that very much." Zane and Kai nodded in agreement.

"Wait a minute." Said Zane. Kai stopped next to Zane and looked at him. I also stopped and looked to Zane.

"What is it Zane?" Asked Kai.

"I sense that someone is watching us from behind." All of us then turned around and Kai then moved in between Zane and I. A man then became visible, like he came out of nowhere.

"I'm guessing that you're Roper." Kai said with an I'm-gonna-kill-you-look.

"Good guess. You're right." Said Roper. "You're so smart."

"I'm gonna kill you." Kai started to run towards Roper, and so did Zane, but I put my arm in front of Kai to stop him. Zane also stopped when Kai did. I moved my head from left to right.

"It's best we not start something Kai and Zane." I said. "I am not risking both of you getting hurt like the others."

"Yes Sensei." Zane and Kai both said in sync. They then backed up a step.

"Not gonna fight?" I look over to Roper, smirking. "Am I too good for you?"

None of us answered, just stared at him angrily.

"No. We aren't." I said. "I am not risking my other students getting hurt. You can just go back from where you came from."

Roper stared angrily at me. "Fine." Said Roper. "You're all lucky that my Master Cullen told me to not put any damage to you if I spotted you. I will get you next time."

Just then Roper vanished. Zane, Kai, and I then looked around for him.

"I sense that Roper is gone Sensei." I heard Zane say. "I believe he has went back to where he came from."

"Good." Said Kai. "He also got lucky. I would have beaten him to a pulp."

"Let's get back to the Bounty." I said. "We don't need to run into him again."

"Yes Sensei." Said both Zane and Kai. All three of us then walked home, talking about the incident.
