Well....I Guess(Dirk x Dave)

This was it.
A week before Halloween, & we had one of our biggest fights yet.

I had left, been in some seedy motel for the past week or two. Dave was the lucky asshole staying in our house.
I truthfully can't even remember what caused this fight, maybe it was a list of things. Who knew? I didn't, Dave sure as hell was clueless.

Regardless,
Halloween would be in a few days, & we purposely didn't make plans together despite having our costumes go together.
We were going to be Chris & Josh from Until Dawn, but I guess I didn't have a Chris anymore. It was fine though, plenty of my other friends liked Until Dawn enough to complete my group costume. Being Josh, a hot psychopath, was admittedly very very fun.

Out trick or treating with friends in your 20s was way more fun than anyone imagined. A few people recognized their costumes, asking for photos, smiling so wide. I felt famous, seeing people's faces as they realize who we were dressed as. We were only out for a few minutes & already it had begun.

A few blocks later, it was going the same way, cycle after cycle, when I wasn't looking where I was going & bumped into someone a tad shorter than I am. Immediately turning to help them up & apologizing consistently, I realized who it was.
My "Chris", it was Dave. We both just stared at each other before he took my hand to help get up. Again more people ran up to us, specifically Dave & I now. One group asked us to hug for a photo, that much we could do.
Even though that hug reminded me of how much I missed home, missed him.
Someone's group yelled, "KISS HIM"
causing other groups to cheer loudly in agreement.

"Woah, no no. We can't do that, no I-"
Mid protest, I grabbed Dave's face & kissed him, & kissed him, & kissed him. The most passionate kiss I've ever delivered, ever.
He stared at me, before glaring & crossing his arms over his chest.

"Perv." He muttered put, making me laugh.

"Well I guess since that's it, I'll go back to my other Chris cosplayers."
That caught Dave's attention fast as hell.
"There's no other Chris as good as you, you dumbass. I'm your Wendibro."
I pulled him close to me again, smiling as I kissed him gently, "& tonight get ready to be taken to the bone zone."
He snorted as he laughed for at least a full 5 minutes. People all around were filming, taking photos, cheering.

"god I missed you."
Dave muttered between kisses

I made a mental note to myself,. Dave has a sensitive spot for gestures grand such as proclaiming such love physically in front of people.
No arguments that night.
