'You and I were meant to be, ain't no doubt about it, no way to hide that sort of thing.
Now I'm waiting for something better, ain't nothing better worth imagining'
The sound of Ryan's voice echoed around the house, he seemed to be playing an acoustic guitar. Ally walked into the lounge, she had been for a shower. She waited for Ryan to finish writing the rest of the lyrics down before speaking to him "Is that another one for the record?" She asked as she sat on the couch beside him.
"Yeah if I ever get it finished" Ryan exhaled, he looked up and gently brushed his fingers across the bruise on her eye "Don't go back there Ally" He pleaded "Stay here, I can get you what you need you don't need to go back"
"Ryan you know I can't do that" Ally took a deep breath "I've got no choice, if I don't go back I could face years in jail myself. I made a deal with them I can't back out now"
"I know" Ryan remembered the only reason Ally was going along with this "It's just I can't bare the thought of him hurting you again"
"I should get back" Ally frowned and Ryan sat up right.
"Just stay for abit longer, please baby I know you're safe when you're here" Ryan lifted Ally's chin with his fingers "I'm not sure how much longer I can do this for, it kills me everytime you go back there"
"Then maybe we should stop" Ally swallowed hard "The last thing I want is to hurt you"
"Are you serious?" Ryan snapped as he moved away from Ally "You still don't get it do you, Ally I can't walk away now even if I wanted to. I'm in too deep"
"I'm sorry" Tears filled Ally's eyes "I love you" Ryan moved closer to Ally again and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I love you too" he blew out his breath as he tried to fight his emotions. He wasn't kidding when he said the thought of her going back there killed him. Ryan hated to think what this was doing to Ally, she knew what she was going back to aswell.
"I really do need to go though, he'll guess somethings wrong" Ryan nodded as he tucked some hair behind Ally's ear. He knew she was right, James would kick off if she was even just a few minutes late home.
They walked to Ryan's front door, he looped an arm around Ally and kissed her hard, she pulled away reluctantly and started to open the door but Ryan stopped it with his hand "If anything happens and you need me, just call and I will be there in minutes to come and get you, okay" he looked deep into her eyes and kissed her head. Ally nodded and hugged him again, she then opened the door and walked slowly down the steps towards her car.

The smell of home cooking hit Ally as soon as she walked in the front door. James had been busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen "Hey baby" he grinned a she he walked down the hall and greeted Ally with a glass of champagne.
"What's all this?" She smiled as she put her bag down and grabbed the glass off him.
"Just me trying to show how much I love you" James kissed Ally gently before taking her by the hand and leading her into the lounge, which had been filled with red roses in vases and candles.
"Oh wow honey it's beautiful" Ally gasped "Thank you"
"That's okay, I'm cooking steak for dinner is that okay?" James smiled.
"Yeah that's fine" Ally followed him into the kitchen, he had set the table for two with side plates and glasses. Ally was surprised by the effort James had gone to, but it wasn't enough to make her rethink her feeling for him. They were still nonexistent...
