Liam's POV
Today Carly wanted Perrie and I to go on a date with her as the third wheel. Perrie's a nice girl and treats Carly like her own but I don't think I'm memory stable for a girl's attention.
I agree at the end since Carly is practically begging me. I get my phone out and dial Perrie's number with nervousness.
"Hello." Her voice cheerfully answers her phone.
"Hey Perrie! It's Liam." I say to the other side of the conversion.
"Oh Liam! What's up?" She asks with concern.
"I just wanted I know if you were busy today." I ask her with a nervous smile.
"Gladly, I'm not busy." She says quickly.
I smile." Do you want to have a surprise day with me and Carly today?" I ask her while holding my breath after asking her.
"Sure. Why not?" She agrees and I let go of the deep breath.
"Alright. Well. We'll pick you up around ten since Carly wants to grab breakfast real quick." I tell her and she agrees and hangs up. I put my phone down and run towards Carly's room where she's sleeping soundly.
I pick her up and toss her in the air to try to wake her up a bit. "Today we're going on a surprise day with a special guest." I inform her quietly.
"Is it Perrie?" She asks with a curious smile. I nod and she embraces me tightly.
"You're gonna marry her, right daddy?" She asks me with hope.
I chuckle. I shake my head at her. "Not really. I have to maker sure that she'll treat my fragile and poor heart good first." I explain slowly. She nods and I put her down and run into my shower and take a long relaxing shower for the day.
I get out of the shower and dress into a simple black long sleeved shirt with blue jeans and dark brown worker boots. Carly wears her hair up in a ponytail, wearing a light pink long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and her sandals. I get my car keys, take her hand and leave the apartment while locking the front door. I drive towards Perrie's address. When we arrive, Carly begs me to go and knock on her door and greet her like a prince should do to a princess. I get out but loll the car and roll down the windows for Carly. I walk towards her door and I wipe my sweaty hands on my jeans. I knock on the door and hear Perrie's lovely voice coming from the inside.
She opens the door and smiles at me. "Liam! Let me get my bag and lock the door real quickly." She says while running back into her house to get it. She comes back and blushes as I take her hand and lead her to the passenger seat and open the door for her.
"Hello Perrie!" I hear Carly greet her while I walk toward the drivers seat. I chuckle and get in.
"Hello Love." She answers to Carly with a smile and a wave. I look at her and she smiles at me.
"Where are we going today?" She asks me with a confuse smile.
"We're going to eat some breakfast first and then we're going to play some mini golf." I tell her and Carly laughs in excitement.
"Alright. Just warning, I'm amazing in mini golfing so beware." She says to Carly and I but mostly me.
"Careful! My daddy knows a few things from my uncle Niall. He's one of the best golfers out there and he helps my dad on Wednesdays." She says to her and Perrie laughs.
"Alright.... Let's go eat now, shall we?" She asks and we nod. I drive into the parking lot of a diner. I get out of the car and run to Perrie's side to open the door for her. After I let Carly out and grab her hand.
"Hello and welcome to Rebecca's Diner. What would you like to eat?" The waiter asks us.
"What would you like to eat Car?" I ask her as she grabs a menu from the table that we're sitting at.
"Pancakes, orange juice and eggs!" She says excited.
"What about you Perrie?" I ask her and she looks at me with her big blue eyes.
"I'd have to get coffee, pancakes and a bowl of fruit on the side." She says with a smile towards me.
I nod. "I'll get the breakfast slumber with a coffee like her." I tell the waiter and he smiles as he nods and takes the menus away.
I look at Perrie and smile at her. "How was your morning?" I ask her with a mischievous smile.
"It was boring just like any other unil you called which made everything better instantly." She gushes.
I smile at her and put my hand over hers on the table which Carly wasn't looking. She looks at our hands and blushes as I chuckle. "You have soft hands."
She laughs into her shoulder. "Thanks?" She says confused. "Sorry. No one has ever said that to me so I was caught off guard." She says with playing with my fingers.
"It's alright. I'm awkward so get used to that."
"I'd love to." She smiles as the waiter brings our food and Carly looks at it oblivious that me and Perrie were quietly flirting. I hand Perrie her food and steal one of her grapes.
She gasps and throws one at me in revenge and it hit me on the nose.
"Hey! You can't do that!" I scold at her.
"Sorry! Already did." She says with a smirk and starts eating her food.
I roll my eyes and do the same. An hour after, I get up from the take with Perrie holding my hand and Carly holding my right. We go to the front and I pay for the food. Perrie smiles at my action and leans to kiss my cheek which made Carly gasp in surprise but smiles after.
"Thank you Liam. So much." She says and walk over to Carly so that she can win her a toy from the crane machine in the corner of the restaurant. I sign my signature and give it to the nice lady.
"Your daughter is full of joy and happiness. Your wife is very beautiful and kind." She says to me while handing me the receipt.
"She is... Isn't she?" I tell her about Perrie and I walk over to them and exit the place to be car. It was finally time to play mini golf.
After eighteen holes later, I win ten, Perrie loses by two and Carly..... Carly isn't really competing against us. We turn in our golf equipment and go to the car and drive back to Perrie's house. Carly passed out of exhaustion and I made sure to walk Perrie to her door.
"I really had a full time today. Thank you so much. I'm a bit sad I lost the game." She said with a pout.
"I won. I also won the bet. I deserve it." I tell her with a smile.
"What?!?!" She says with a gasp.
She be that she would win and if she lost she'd give me a kiss at the end of the night. Here we are.
"Alright." She smiles and I lean down to capture her lips in a kiss.
She holds onto my biceps and I hold onto her waist. It felt right.... It felt amazing and I felt loved for the first time in forever.
We pull out of the kiss and she smiles at me. She leans to embrace me and whispers something in my ear that makes my whole body burst in flames.
"You're a really good kisser." She says and she closes her door.
I feel my face go back to its original color and I laugh as I literally run to my car and drive us home.
Tomorrow's the big day!
