"So who are you? And why my mom was so angry at you?"
"I'm someone both you and your mom, hate." He said, smiling sadly which made me roll my eyes.
"What a nice introduction for someone I don't know."
I saw it. The flash of hurt in his expression. And I wondered if I was being rude to him. Whatever. He hadn't told me who he was yet.
"Why do I hate you?" I asked and he looked away from me.
"You just do it." He said and turned to walk away, but this time I stopped him by grabbing his arm.
"I need to know." I said to him. I almost felt myself glaring.
Why they all seemed not to want to talk about my past? Don't I have the right to know about it? It was my past, after all.
"No you don't need to." He said, removing my hand from his arm. I still didn't understand the reason of his smile.
"MINYOUNG!"
I jumped in surprise when I heard my mom yelling my name behind me and just a second later I felt a hand slapping my back and she pinched my arm.
"Don't you dare do this again"
"Mom!" I winced, trying to flee away from her painful pinch. "I'm sorry, mom"
"See what you have done?" My mom said, but it wasn't for me. It was for the man who claimed that I hated him. "And you... You are coming with me."
She grabbed me with her back to the house. I caught one last glance at the man and he still was looking at the ground, he kicked the wall beside him before making his way, away.
"Mom, mom. I'm sorry." I begged as she still was grabbing. I noticed that she started to cry again, her grip on my no longer hard as she slowly let go of my arm.
"Seriously Minyoung." She said, her voice was weak. "Don't you know how worried I am about you? Why do you always make me like this?"
"Mom..."
"No, you can't do this again."
I nodded and she just walked inside of the house, leaving me outside with my guilt.

(Narrator's POV)
The next morning, Minyoung found her new school uniform hand on the handle of her cupboard. Her mother must have put it when she was still sleeping.
She got up and took a shower before hopping into her uniform. She loved the way she looked at it. It was perfect on her. She tied her hair up in a ponytail as she put her text books, which she found in her desk drawer the night before, inside of her bag
She could feel her heart beating so fast. She was nervous and scared about the new school.
Would she get along with the kids there and make new friends? If she couldn't remember her previous friends at least she should make new ones.
She wondered how her previous school looks like. But whenever she asked about this, she found no answer. First, her mom always avoided talking about anything before the accident. Minyoung didn't even knew how she ended up being hit by a car. Second, Jimin seemed like he didn't want her to remember which was strange.
Third, she couldn't remember.
"Hurry up, Minyoung" Minyoung jumped when she heard her mother calling, "Jimin is here." she hurried and took her bag over her shoulder.
"I'm coming." She said, running down the stairs and almost tripped and fell down. But strong arms caught her, leading her to be pulled into someone's arm.
And those arms are so familiar. She looked up and grinned at Jimin who looked like his soul left him.
"Safe."
"You are smiling!!!" He scolded, pinching her cheeks hard. "Oh god, Minyoung. You are giving me heart attacks."
"It's because I'm too pretty, right?" She said shamelessly and she couldn't help but notice the blush on his face and the way he looked at her made her clear her throat to breathe normally.
Noticing that Jimin's arms was still around her and the two of them almost looked like they could kiss in any second, she gulped and pulled away from him.
Her cheeks also were bright red.
"You are finally ready." Minyoung's mother said, coming out of the kitchen. She noticed how her daughter and Jimin was red. She walked over to them and put her hands over their forehead, sensing their temperature.
"Strange, your temperature is fine." She said, giving them a weird look.
Jimin cleared his throat and suddenly said, "M-Minyoung, we should go... We will not catch the bus if we are late."
"Huh? A-aah!" She looked at him and then nodded. "Yeah... Let's go."
Jimin took her bag and placed it over his shoulder with his own bag on the other shoulder. He took off first and Minyoung followed him, giving her mother a kiss before walking out and close the door behind her.
Minyoung's mother smirked as she watched them from the window, walking side by side. Minyoung slapping Jimin arm playfully and Jimin pinching her cheeks. Minyoung's mother couldn't help but think that they looked good together.
However, she wasn't sure if that was right. She knew that her daughter just didn't remember.
At least her daughter was happy, by now. And that was enough.
