Minyoung's mother was sitting on the passenger seat. She half turned and looked at them, smiling.
"We aren't late." Jimin and Minyoung said, at the same time, making her mom smile even more that her teeth were shown and give them a nod.
They looked at each other and grinned like two kids.
Mining and Jimin kept on talking about nothing. They just continued their hopeless and useless arguing over anything. Like music. Jimin loved Hip Hop and R&B songs while Minyoung found them annoying and preferred Ballad over them.
Like sports, Jimin was interested in dancing and boxing, which was the only thing he shared with her, however, he thought that she was a girl and girls wasn't supposed to love this kind of games.
"I'm not a Barbie type of girls." Minyoung just knew about those types because of the movies Jimin made her watch with him. "I like what I want."
"That's my girl." Minyoung heard her mother say which sent confident in her. She left her head up and shrugged.
"You are hopeless." Jimin shook his head, sighed. Minyoung laughed, nudging him, playfully.
"Hey, sweetie." Minyoung's mother started, earning silence from both kids. "As you know you are going to start school tomorrow."
"Yeah." Minyoung sighed. She was excited about school and meeting a new people, but she was sad that Jimin wasn't attending the same school as her. She would feel lonely and bored.
She didn't understand why her mother didn't enroll her in the same school Jimin went to. Trying to make her feel better about it, Jimin told her that his school wasn't that great and that her new school was way better.
But still Minyoung wanted to be with him. With him always.
When Minyoung asked about her previous school, she didn't find the answer she hoped for. They always told her that her new school was the best for her, for the best new start.
She wondered if she had friends. Yeah, she had Jimin but still she wondered if she had girl friends. But Jimin told her that she only had him in which she rolled her eyes at, scoffing.
Minyoung didn't understand why she would need a new start, when she couldn't even remember the end of her previous one.
"The school isn't that far from home," her mother continued. "Jimin will take you there and show you the way."
"Yeah." Minyoung sighed again. She wanted her mother to take her the first day, but she knew that her mother just had opened her coffee shop and she was busy running it.
"You sound disappointed that I will give a walk to school." Jimin said, raising his eyebrow at her in daring.
She chuckled and rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I don't want the boys in my school to think that I have a boy or something."
Jimin just pinched her cheeks. The both of them wasn't dating but they had something for each other. Which was silence feelings that neither of them spoke it out loud.
When Minyoung woke up, the care Jimin showed her, told her that he really did like her more than just friends, even though he hadn't said it. But everything he did, showed it.
Minyoung herself, liked him. A lot. And she felt safer, happier and more comfortable when she was around him.
"You can't go around the school flirting with boys, sweetheart." Her dad said, which made her blush. She nodded and told him not to worry. It was kind of awkward to hear that from her dad.
She glanced at Jimin who smirked at her and said, "Yeah, listen to your father." she stuck her tongue out at him, before looking out of the car.
It wasn't like she could feel anything for anyone other than Jimin.
