Jakalya POV

It was 7:00 in the morning and I was still laying in bed. Today is my baby's birthday and I have lots planned for me and him. I grabbed my phone and pressed his name to call him. The phone rang for a few and he picked up on the third ring

Hello?

" happy birthday sleepy head " I said with excitement

" thank ya babeh "

" well you need to get up because I have a few things planned for you and me today be ready by 8:30/9:00OK "
" babeh didn't I tell you not ya do nun fa me last night was enough "
" yea but I wanted to anyway I mean this your first birthday with me and I wanted it to be special something you would remember"
" if that's what make you happy than I'm happy too"
" and it is, but imma see you later I have to get my baby ready "
" aight tell my princess I said good morning "
" I will bye babeh " and with that I hung up.

Kiya won't be joining us today I decided I would take her to daycare so it would only be us doing our thang.

I got up and went into the bath room to take a quick shower. After getting out I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Done with my morning routine, I went into my room and got a pair of underwear and matching bra putting it on. I lotioned down my body down and slipped on a pair of shorts and a simple t-shirt. I got a pair of Jordan socks and put them on then slipped into my slides.

I made my way down to kiya room to start getting her ready. After I was done bathing her and getting her dressed we headed on down stairs

" baby what you want fa breakfast"

" I want cereal "

" That's it " she nodded her head yes so I got out a bowl grabbing the cereal from the cabinet and milk from the refrigerator making her stuff. I handed her the cereal and a spoon and she began to eat. I made my self a bowl just to have something in my stomach

After we were done eating I got my things together and made sure kiya had hers and headed on out.

Once we arrived at kiya daycare I went to sign her in and spotted kaykay she came running to me

" hi TT" she said with arms out for a hug

" hey Kay " I said smiling and hugging her I pulled away and hugged kiya

" mommy see you later ok " she nodded
" you two be good ok " they nodded and ran on off. I left and got into my car heading back home

Once I got home I headed on into the kitchen washing my hands about to start preparing August Birthday breakfast. I wanted it to be nice and special I knew exactly what I wanted to make it romantic and special I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I pulled out all the ingredients I was gonna need and started. I had decide to make strawberry pancakes with cream running over it with strawberries and blue berries on the side.

After I was done preparing his breakfast I covered it up and looked up at the time seeing it was almost 9:00. I went into my room and changed into some black leather pants and a black crop. Change my shoes to a nice pair of heals I combed my hair out. I looked towards the clock and saw it was 9:00 soon hearing the door bell being run. I looked in to my full body mirror to see how I looked and made my way downstairs lookin out the window making sure it was August. I opened the door reviling an fine handsome August he was dressed in a simple white T-shirt and joggers but he made it look so damn good.
