chapter 4: Friends

Jakalya pov

Me and august have been hanging out every since we went out to the beach he's real cool we are friends but nothing more he treats kiya as if she was his child and I'm really thankful for that cause ya know he doesn't have to do it. I still didn't tell him about who kiya father was and how my life was getting raped by my step father mostly every night and that him he that man from hell was her father and lords know I wish he wasn't. But no matter what I will treat kiya no different despite who her father is. Anyway me and august is going out to lunch together kiya is a daycare today so. He supposed to come by around 12:30 1:00 and its almost 12 now I've ready took my shower, I fixed my hair in some Lil curls and put it up into a pony tail at top and the back out i put on my black tights black crop top my black converse and an jacket. I pulled out my Queen Latifah perfume grabbed my phone was ready. By the time I was ready it was 12:30 so I decide to text Aug to see where he wanted to meet up at for lunch

Me: hey Aug um where would you like to meet up at
Aug: wassup ma we could meet at red lobsters that fine with ya lil babeh
Me: yea I'm ready wanna meet now or what
Aug: I'm ready to so we could meet na

After I read His message I got my keys made sure everything was locked up and was out I got in my car and was ready to leave it took me bout 30 mins to get there so when I got there it was around 1:00.

I pulled up got out my car and made my way inside and I saw august sitting at and table I made my way to where he was

"Hello august " I said with a smile he got up and gave me a hug

"Wassup ma' " he said backing out from the hug he took his seat and I took mines

"So how ya been"

"I've been good and you"

"I'm good still livin rite"
I chuckled a Lil and shook my head

"So where my Lil babeh girl at"

"I took her to daycare today what about Kaykay"

"She a with her mama and sisters "

"Mhm OK that's good"
I looked through the menu to see what I wanted the pasta with shrimp sounded pretty good so I probably was finna get that. When I looked up I seen august just staring at me
I smiled

"What"

"Ya know ya real beautiful ma i-i just can't help but to look at ya "

"Well thank you"

"Ya welcome babeh so what ya gettin"

"I want the pasta wat bout you "

"Imma get the shrimp Alfredo"
That did sound pretty good I closed up my menu when the waitress came over

"Hello and welcome to red lobsters my name is Jalisa may I start you off with anything to drink " she said with a smile

"Yea ugh I ca have a sprite"

"Me too" she wrote it down in her note pad

"Are you guy ready to order or..."

'Yes may I have the pasta with shrimp and broccoli"

"And lemme get the shrimp Alfredo"
She wrote the orders down and left

August pov

Me and Jakalya been cool I starting ta feel Lil mama but ion wanna rush into it cause we haven't known each other that long and I know she probably not ready to come and be my babeh girl yet.

I wanna tell her how I feel I wanna be cuddled up with her she makes me feel some type of way she makes me feel good shes just different from all the other broads I've dated while I'm with her I knew it since the first day I meet her she makes me smile laugh I'm no soft nigga but she finna turn me into one just for her I wanna show her that i can be there for her she ont gotta worry bout a thing imma be the man in ha life she need the father that her child is missin the one who would love to claim her as Mines My Women My Wife, I would love to put a ring on that finger and possibly plant one of My seeds in her so she could have My baby

I plan on telling her how I feel after we leave from lunch I wanna take her some where not to special but special where she would remember it and know that I would always be there for her if she needs anything.

"So jakalya what's ya plans after ya leave from lunch with me "

" ion have nun imma just chill maybe straighten up a Lil why was sup"

" cause tonight we going somewhere and ya need ta be ready by maybe 7:00 "

"And can you tell me where you might be taking me sir" she said with a smile and taking a sip of her drink

" nah I can't just b ready by the time I get there but don't put on nun fancy sumin simple and nice"
She nodded her head in agreement

Jakalya pov

After lunch with august I went home and just relaxed I was tired so I changed into something comfortable and took a nap.........

When I woke up it was around 5:00 and I needed to be ready by 6:30 somewhere round that time I took a 30 min shower. After I got out the shower I lotioned my whole body down and pulled out on my matching bra and panties set. I walked to my closet to find something to wear..
